I'm doing loads better than I was in my last log, but I'm still finding it really hard to knock peoples' ego down. Even when I get them well under 50%, they're back up by the time my superstratus balance is back. It's really obnoxious having to keep track of 5 balances at once (illusions, three psionics channels and my beast), so I basically just have aliases that do all four or five as once, which I mash whenever I see one of them is open. I need more illusions lines too, all I have right now is the sap one, which worked great in my first fight against him (which I won). My demesne contributes so little that I didn't make a big point of rejecting his lust, until I remembered that I was passively curing all of his afflictions.

Too painstaking to read without color.

How would I go about making a 'proper' log in MUSHclient...? I've tried creating logs but I can never find any indication that it's begun logging besides the check mark beside it under 'Files', and if I open the logs folder it's always empty.

Just increase your buffer size in the output settings and then when you got something you want to log just scroll through the output and select it then right-click and Copy as HTML. Make a Googlepages site and paste it in that way.

Heh this was the only spar I forgot to log out of the spars I did today ... sorry!

Also to get a better log from MUSH ... firstly you'll want to go to the configuration and then to the General>Logging and enable the colour checkbox. Then to log your spar just hit the log session button on the task bar or menu bar or whatever (or ctrl+shift+j) when you start the spar and choose the save name etc. and then just hit that button again when you're done.

I made a Google Sites page and pasted the HTML of a log into the HTML editor, hit preview, and everything looked great - but when I click 'update', the HTML editor closes and nothing happens. If I open it again, it's empty. Heeelp?

EDIT: It worked! Sweet Jesus, it worked. Okay, this is a really long log and nobody wins, and I don't even have the beginning of it... but it's all pretty much the same stuff, so skim it or whatever. I ended up running off when I realized I only had 100 sparkleberry left and that I'd somehow expended half my willpower. Apparently I had him at 0 ego at some point, and as you can see I scanned him at 23% but he was recovered by the time I bursted (isn't that annoying?). I'm considering throwing raise staff out of the line-up entirely, because even though I use it 'correctly' now, i.e. I score concussions with it, it doesn't seem to hinder my targets in the slightest.

P.S. Does paralysis prevent using psi channels?

I believe googlesites preview is done by your computer, whereas updating you actually need to upload the file, which can be fairly large for some logs. Hence the delay.

EDIT: No it does not. The things that prevent psionics include : sprawled, blind, peace, pacify, stun, uncon (sprawled anyway, duh), sleep (again, sprawled anyway) and anything else that sprawls you that your system might not treat as the 'sprawled' affliction.

Pretty sure prone doesn't stop psionics. Does it?
