Im only dabbling, I realize I am not a very good artist by any stretch of imagination.

Well, I am a big fan of simplicity, I seek it out from time to time.
I actually drew the picture some time after having read a few
passages of the Tao Te Ching and suddenly being inspired by
some thoughts of Lusternia and Hallifax in particular a bit later.
I felt like drawing something to do with, well, air and spires.

The colour thing is just because I like colours

I wish I could draw like that. You have the Starfall seal of approval, anyway!

I am honoured, glad you like it!

The style does not really lend itself to detailed paintings, or portraits, sadly.
But simple natural events can be displayed with quite some beauty, I think.

This one was a bit of a gamble. Tried to do something new.
At first I thought it was horrible, but I looked again and thought
about it, I ended up liking it a whole lot.

Czigany BigTop comes to mind with Sunshine. Those clouds look cuddly.
Is the program as fun as it looks?

Its a great program. A bit hard to get into, but great nonetheless. I use the free version. The full (paid) version has a lot more features.
