Just recently switched to being an Herbalist, and when I queue "Plants," it just says "Queued up for harvesting." And then it does nothing but sit there.
I harvested over 600 herbs yesterday by hand. NEVER again >.>. In either case, do you guys know what's wrong? I also have "Plants on"; it does the same thing even if I don't keep it on.
Also, I use Treant ^^

AUTO HERBS ON
Edit: In general just typing AUTOS will answer a lot of questions, I've found.

I did do AUTO HERBS ON, and it still does the same thing. Sorry, I forgot to mention that.

Do you have prompt set so that it shows your left and right arm balance?
Unknown2010-03-22 19:49:33
Well, yes; from what I know how to do, I did plain arm balance on, as I didn't see individual arm-balance in what I could use for the prompt. Also, herbs requires all balance, not a different arm balance, so I don't know if that would help, sadly.
Pah, I put the arm balance in the prompt, and now it's not even giving me the "Plants are queued to be harvested" message
My prompt looks like this: 5256h, 3411m, 3798e, 10p, 20420en, 13226w elrxk-

Did you tconfig skills after switching to herbs? Clearly you should purchase support from Iasmos, he loves answering these questions.

Usually within minutes. I've never regretted any of the support I've bought from him.
Talan2010-03-22 21:26:34
It's true. Even if you just need a hug.
Unknown2010-03-22 21:43:10
Well, I would, but I've no moneyz of which to spare! So. I DID do tconfig skills, and I've reset it a few times, too! So, I'm still stuck. Since the program isn't working in this respect, do you know any good alternatives that do the same thing? I tried harvesting every time I regained balance, but that turned out to be a nightmare, really.

As a harvester, I'd really suggest you make your own system for it. It needn't be complicated; a trigger for each herb in a room that captures how many there are, and a trigger for "You have regained balance" that harvests if an herb is above 5, 10, 15, or whatever your limit is. That's pretty much how I started (although since then it's grown waaaaaay beyond that, and my sourcefile for the harvester is at roughly 60k), and it works wonders. Plus, if you make it yourself, you'll A) learn more about coding in whatever client you're using, and B) know how to update it. It's win/win, really.

Normally, I'd really get behind this. But Iasmos has a really awesome harvester.

Hrms. When you talk about paying Iasmos, do you mean in real dollars, or in Lusternia? O.o.
Also, I WOULD make my own, but I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what to look for when I go coding. All I know is that the asterisk is like a wild card, and that @target refers to your target. Other than that, I know nothing, and I mean NOTHING. So, I guess I need to know a place where I can learn how to use Lua from ground negative zero and up ^^

No matter which client you're using, there are generally friendly people here that can teach you at least the basics. I could even test the client out a bit and see what I'll make of it, programming wise, but it'd likely take a while...

He sells support for 30 credits.

Ah, that works. Sort of. But oh, well. In either case, thanks for all your help guys! I really appreciate it!

shadyindigo: This is a bit off topic, but could you please change your font colour to something a bit more readable for those of us who may not be reading your text on a white background? In Igasho Twilight I really have to strain my eyes to read your posts.

Given his forum name, you probably aren't going to convince him.

I've got two goons and a baseball bat that says we could persuade him.
"Hey, that's a nice looking post you'se working on there. Be a shame if anything was to...happen to it."
