I've been working on getting my system built up quite a bit over the last couple of weeks, and have really made headway on all the more base functions, however I was curious about the following mechanics:
~ Impale/Crucify/Pinleg -- What actions do these respective afflictions stop, what actions are allowable? Are there any special writhing rules regarding them? (I noticed in Treant that it handles being impaled slightly differently than other writhe afflictions)
~ Bleeding -- How do bleeding mechanics work? I understand that certain abilities increase in bleeding until cured (Burst vessels, severed arteries, etc.) however if multiple people are striking the same target with a bleeding attack, who get's the kill should they bleed out? How viable is a bleed kill for say a BM?
~ Sliced Thigh / Pierced Leg -- I noticed on the Talnara website and the Lore Wiki that these afflictions have a chance of proning, however in my tests with Pierced legs I noticed that it doesn't passively prone, though it does hinder movement speed (hobbles in) and has a somewhat low chance of hindering stand. Is this correct? Or does the prone from this ability only fire off certain actions? Does this hold true for a sliced thigh as well?
I think those are the only one's I've got at the moment, but I may add more as they come along.

Crucify stops all curing other than maybe gedulah/green. Pinleg stops tumble and insomnia. Impale I cant even recall.
~ Bleeding -- How do bleeding mechanics work? Last person to hit gets the bleed out part of the kill, even if the attack they did didnt cause bleeding. Bleeding is viable if you use herb stacking and high speed weapons, as you can artery on every hit and adding other herb cures stops curing them quickly. Its not the best method but if they run out of mana clotting you will almost always win.

Believe they 'tic' prone if you have them. Go too long with them and you fall or some such.

Special writhing rules regarding impales (including crucify and pinleg): you require balance (but not equilibrium) to begin writhing. This makes it easier to stack impales as a one-hander, as you can be afflicted with multiple pinlegs/impales (in the one bodypart) and the balance requirement delays the writhing out. It's also the key component of sac, which requires keeping you on a cross for a few seconds (enough time to break all your limbs and then sacrifice you), which is normally achieved through ectoplasm and passive balance loss afflictions.
All impales will prevent a tumble from beginning, but no longer stop one in progress. If you are crucified while tumbling, you will still be on the cross in the next room.
EDIT: I think crucify also stops focus mind, which is highly unusual, and primarily because epilepsy (one of the main balance-loss affs) is curable by focus mind.

Healing (the skill) is, from my last check, also not blocked by Crucify.

Wow! Thanks for the clarification... I'll see if I can find someone willing to let me test what Imaple hinders and post my results!

Ok! Finally got a chance to test out impale, and much to my suprise it actually hinders nothing save tumbling and counts as prone. Pinleg prevents clotting and insomnia, is there any reason impale shouldn't do the same?
I did think of another question, however:
~ Contagion -- What afflictions does it give, and how often is the tic? (Finding a non-lich in Mag proves to be difficult. So I havent been able to test this yet.)
