Anyone get into this yet other than me and Alianna?

The closest comparison it gets brought up in context with is Defence of the Ancients/League of Legends/Heroes of Newerth, but it plays very very differently.

There are no creeps, and you can play anything from 1v1 to 5v5. Normally it's deathmatch (no respawn), best of 7. You move your guy with wsad, mouseover to target, and press left/rightclick, QERF and spacebar to use your moves, all of which have cooldowns of like 10 seconds max and no mana cost. There's also no randomness of any kind and just about every move has to be aimed and lead like valkyrie/potm/ashe arrows. It's pretty fun. I can only play 3v3 or below due to comp lag though.

It sounds like Rakion, except way cooler!

I can't say that I ever heard of Rakion, but it does sound kinda different and worth trying. Give me something to try on my next days off.

Ali has a couple of invites for this. The two of us and Tewi have it, and I'm trying to persuade Rodngar to get it, so cool people that want to play with us let me know, I guess. I also think Shammy may have one.

Yeah, you gave me an invite. This game is pretty cool though I haven't really got into it that much yet. I'd be up for a Lusternia inhouse sometime if anyone else is.

By the way, it's absolutely nothing like DotA/HoN and I have no idea why it gets compared to those. The closest thing I can compare it to is the PvP in Guild Wars.

Yeah, it takes a long time. Asian ping IS pretty terrible and the lag is enough to make it frustrating, but thankfully I found another way to get on HoN.

This game is now out. It uses the godawful LoL grind model but some people like that I guess (and you can just buy all the classes for what comes to about £25 and then just grind for a bunch of skins and stuff.

It's a lot more skill-intensive than LoL and Asians/Australians/etc. can't really play it so it's not for everyone, but for gamers it's definitely worth trying out.

It was still kind of fun to play even with 300+ms (lol), I think it's definitely worth a try!

I think you would quickly become bored of it playing at 300ms, but if you're masochistic then by all means give it a try, Asians and Aussies!
