I was gonna get a ipad, and was wondering if there are any MUDClients for it. anyone know?

There are general purpose Telnet apps. Looks like that's as close as you'll get. Nexus doesn't seem to run properly in my iPad emulator either. I'd say it's a no-go.

In theory mudlet probably could. Qt is able to run on handheld devices, but I'm fairly sure that there is special licensing involved in that. If you have a mac (to build the code yourself), you could look into it, the mudlet code is available. Not sure what is involved in getting Qt apps on a handheld, never tried it.

The keyboard is too small for my tastes and I have the hands of a 10 year old child. Not to mention the lack of tactile feedback.

It would however be very cool to get a mapper working on an iPad.

I've researched this a bit, you can buy an external keypad for the iPad, which could help to mud...

If you wanted a keyboard, wouldn't you just buy a netbook?
