My Mudbot keeps mysteriously crashing when I attempt to edit a project; editing a clan file, though, is fine. Any ideas as to why this might be? I have permissions to the project, and the in-game editing screen shows up (and shows the default line of text in the project), but Mudbot crashes immediately thereafter.
If it matters, I'm currently using Treant and (I think) LMTS.

It's been a known bug for many months, if not years. The solution is to either not edit things or stop using MudBot. (I did the latter a while ago.)

That's weird...does it always happen 100% of attempts to edit projects, and only projects? I could've sworn I've edited a project years ago with Mudbot running...but I was probably still running IMTS then.
If I stop using Mudbot, I can't use the mapper! That's a scary reality.
Edit: Ok, so now I realize it crashes when trying to edit any already-existing help file. Tried it with my old Mudbot (running IMTS), and it works fine.

I generally switch to Nexus just to edit things. The editor there is still the best.

It wasn't a bug with the old, old IMTS, but when Whyte made upgrades for IMTS 2.0, something broke irrevocably. I tried to find it and fix it, but to no avail (no real debugger makes it hard, too).
I have an all Lua/XML mapper add-on for Treant now, which I use. Only drawback is that it's a bit slower than MudBot.
