I think DotA is some sort of Warcraft 3 thing, but I'm not entirely sure

As for flavour, don't worry too much about it. Aside from character themes and skills, both games are basically.. tower defense, RTS/RTT types, which means not a whole lot of lore. Just plenty of terminology!

Electrician is one of the heroes in HoN. Nothing to worry about.

I guess... we'd probably start with the random day 1 lynch.

But towerdiving this early is painful, even for a first blood gank. I'll keep an eye out for lanes that are pushed up though.

Silferras, I have not understood one word of your last two posts.

I *think* Silferras means it's too early for a random lynch but to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior, but I'm not sure... seemed to be the only thing that makes sense in context though.
