Influencing artifact - No matter what you are wearing, you will get maximum clothing influence for every type of influence (about 300 credits worth I think)

Cubix upgrade (needs a cubix) - add the undervault exits (hives, prison), also allows you to 'teleport cubix' from the uv at half the balance of teleport nexus. (500 credits?)

Shrouded room -500 credits - while in a room with this upgrade nobody can scry/haven seek/farscout/astrosense you (except elder gods of course)

Still need an artifact to dodge (naturally occurring) waves/earthquakes. Waves is the most important, though.

Its rather dumb that higher life forms like us could not see that huge cow in the street and bump on it everytime though.

Look at it this way-- you're running along, not really looking where you're going, and suddenly this cow leaps out from behind a bush! *SMACK* (Not that they really leap, but during the evening Cow Crossing there're always a few drivers who don't pay as much attention as they should and don't slow down when they see the Cow Xing sign. Oldies but goodies:
Aethership upgrade that adds another flashpoint, up to a maximum of (say) six.
Rune for bard instruments that extends the length of songs (that is, time between refrains).
Rune for bard instruments that allows a second personal milestone.
Rune that increases the capacity of the rift.

How about in addition to (instead of?) the pantograph for artisans, something that cuts comms required by 25%? (Considering most trade artifacts effectively double what you get from comms, and artisan uses up comms more than anyone else, 25% isn't too much.)

Rose-Coloured Glasses. Allows you to screen out spam with server-side filtering of selected lines in combat where someone who is not you is attacking someone else who is not you in a way that doesn't affect you.

Ethereal stick/branch/stick/flower/etc.
- Weapon (crap stats- like a guardian symbol)
- POINT BRANCH AT to Faerie Fire. In addition, holding it in your inventory allows Clinging in trees (CLING) and also lets you SHOVE people to the ground..

I want a manse artifact that could let you set up areas within your manse. Like, say you have a manse of 45 rooms and 20 of those rooms are supposed to be inside a cave. Well, you can't use that ambiance arch thingie for the 25 of your rooms that are the island the cave sits on cause why woudl you feel a cool salty breeze and hear jungle birds singing inside the cave? And why would you smell bat guano and hear the dripping of water from stalagtites on a tropical beach?

And what if you want to let your manse be semi-public up to a certain point? You know, all your friends can wander about the island and explore your cave, but you want the secret tunnel system under the cave restricted. Well, of course you put a door on it and set perms, but since it's all one area folks can get to you other ways.

I don't know. It's prolly more trouble than it's worth or something. But at least I wish the ambiance arches were able to only affect certain areas instead of a whole manse at once. laugh.gif

I like this idea. The Nimaet family manse is divided into four clearly different areas, and (should Dylara/Synl ever buy an archway) I'd like it very much if the brisk winds of winter did not blow on the beach.

sorry for any spelling mistake, been a long day. And having never bought an artifact, I can't really say whether these are decent prices, merely an idea

This may or may not be unbalanced, but... perhaps some kind of artifact which can be used once a month, and will either add or subtract a % of lessons in a random/chosen skll, until next used..

For Instance... Mary Jo, Aqua Spout, uses the "Luckstone", on her jewelery skill, and it ups it by one skill level, allowing her to, say , cut powerstones.. next month, after it wears off, she uses it on her arts skill, and can no longer hang paintings, only up to glassworks. I dunno, you get the idea.. not a MAJOR boost, and obviously NOT permant. merely a mini-(dis)favor to one skill.

Boots of Striding - 150 credits, immune to waves/mountain movement due to terrain, can LEAP per the skill

Mask of Awareness - 500 credits - Per the Stealth Awareness skill, when worn, lets you know when a personal enemy enters or leaves the area.

Meershaum of Goldie - 250 credits - one herb in this pipe = 30 puffs.. The skill in herbs ups this to 45.

Crystal of Seeing - 500 credits - Negates Cosmicsense(whatever the skill is )) when you scry someone (( IE, they can't sense you scrying them))

Imperial Shield - 350 credits, worn as a rune on a shield. 25% chance of returning partial damage to someone attacking you, per the justice karma blessing

Hmm.

What about toys? Maybe a bouncy ball that you can throw to others or bounce in the room. Completely pointless, but fun. People could use it in games and so on.

That's kinda dumb, but I'm starving to death so my creativitiy (which, I'll be honest, isn't always 100% anyway! laugh.gif ) isn't all that great. I'll think on it more while I go get me some foods.

- Allows you to instantly become completely sated/ fully rested, once per Lusternian day.

Gauntlet of True Magic: 600 credits
- Gives you the ability to taint, flood, or create a natural/Wyrden forest in an area, like a mage or druid.

Aetheric Phase Beam Diamonut: 500 credits
- Decrease the Bombardment time on a given turret.
- Increase the turret's normal balance time.

Symbol of Piety: 300 credits
- Makes your offerings at Divine shrines worth 25% more.

Silver Heart: 200 credits
- Summon your dearest allies instantly!
- Must be on the same plane to use.
- You and your target must be mutually allied.
- Functions like Empress Tarot.

Once a Lusternian day you can UNLEASH FIREWORKS, creating a large blast, seen by all in the local area

Effective Diguise - 50
Allows one to use the DISGUISE . Same effect as the illusion changeself.

MANSE ARTI
Ethereal Seeds 300
Turns a location into a forest. A sappling will grow at the start of each now year/month. Can be harvested for wood!

The mask thing already is an artie... umm spectacles of clairvoyance, but it lets you know enemies and friends when they enter your area.

The boots would be awesome as would the shield if the shield could be attached to brooches not to only existing shield (aka would work with warriors)

I'm not particularly fond of the first one because, hey, I trans'd a skill to help my paranoia already, I'm not going to support something that would go around that. To the second one, already in existence, called Spectacles of Clairvoyance. Shows your personal allies too.

No on the wannabe Earrings of Sinope, please. Tarot is limited to a few classes, let's keep it that way.
