Ok, so I've been gem cutting recently, and in a batch of 500 gems cut, only 28 of them were powerstones.

Is my average of 0.056 chance to cut a powerstone right? Is it really that low? (i'm waiting for the day in which I can get 1/5th of my cuts in powerstones, even 1/10th. waiting....)

Sounds low. I don't know what it is now, but it used to be roughly 1/16th chance.

I think Shaddus is right - I don't know if being trans and having a hammer helps or not.

Last time I cut 2000 gems, I got 121 stones.

But really, that 28 powerstones more than makes up for the cost of you buying the gems, PLUS you get the gem commodity to sell.
I'm glad the frequency isn't too high or they'd be worth nothing (and I make a LOT of gold off them!)

Me too. Their rareness makes them special.

Also speed up gemcutting. I don't like afking for 3 hours while I cut 2000 gems. Seriously.

Edit: Better yet, speed it up even more for people with a hammer, so we can be more special and they can't.
