Ok, first off is the weapons, let's see the difference between dual-wielding and two-handed weapons.
Dual-Wielding
* Can Attack Twice
* Very fast when using speed weapons
* High DPS
* In terms of weapons stats, they're weaker compared to Two-handed weapons
* As long as one arm is functioning, they can still continue attacking.
* Have to raze and swing to bypass rebounding/shield then wound. Twice if you want to remove speed aura.
Two-handed
* Deals solid damage/wound per strike
* In terms of weapon stats, they're higher compared to Dual-Wielding weapons
* Fast when using speed weapons
* Mediocre DPS
* Cleave removes both shield and speed aura in one go. Although is slightly slow to recover than a normal strike.
* Can't attack if either arm doesn't function.
Unless I fail to mention others, speed is important and unfortunately Two-handers don't get them even though they're of the Aslaran Race. With the chance to miss and other variables such as anti-warrior defenses (stances, shielding, parrying, rebounding), Two-handers have to make sure that their attacks hit or they miss precious seconds when they fail. So to give two-handers a slight buff, add in a skill somewhere around gifted.
NEW SKILL:
IMPROVEDSLASHING - by controlling the weight of your large weapon more, your slashes are greatly improved!
What does this do?
By using the slashing actions, such as HACK, SWIPE, SLICE and SLASH, you can hit all three areas. Which will show like this:
SLICE LEFT ENEMY
Flourishing a above your head, you take a swing at .
You strike his left arm, leaving a small surface wound.
You strike his chest, leaving a small surface wound.
You strike his gut, leaving a small surface wound.
However, there will be chances it will miss. To make it more interesting, if it misses on the first area or second, then the rest are considered a miss which makes it a challenge on making sure where to start your slashes. It'll show like this.
Flourishing a above your head, you take a swing at .
Your weapon misses by an inch, swiping only at empty air.
or
You strike his left arm, leaving a small surface wound.
Your weapon misses by an inch, swiping only at empty air.
The first shows you missed the arm, which is the first area to hit by the slash action, making your turn a waste, the second shows you hit the arm but missed the chest, thus also missing the gut.
With this improvement, two-handers can deal 2-3 wounds in a single attack, making quite an interesting combo. For poisons, it'll only trigger on the first hit, thus slightly balancing this skill.
Comments are welcome!

Hmm, the only comment I have is that this is really unneeded. With precision (and thus the bonus two-handers get for it) now actually mattering and the recent buff of assault/sweep, two-handers are very decent. I personally like them better since handling one balance instead of two is easier, but that's a personal preference.

Currently, I'd say two-handers have a slight lead on one-handers. If there's one thing that's close to being balanced in this game, though, it's the warrior specializations (with respect to one another, at least).

I would actually like a skill that would allow me to accurately hit the first body part targetted by the slashing attack. That doesn't cost 4 power per hand, like the Bonecrusher trans skill.

Pulp is a terrible ability, especially for a Transcendent one.

66% is a failing grade in most American schools.

1) Dual wielding has 2 attacks for every 1 2h attack. Agreed.
2) Why do you claim one is "very fast" and the other is "fast"? They use the same speed formula.
3) Why do you claim a different DPS? Especially to such a degree? Mathematically the difference in damage should only come into play when fighting more than one creature of the same time and you get a killing blow on one, then a nice critical with the off-hand weapon. Essentially, slightly less 'wasted' damage-- but this is a rare occurrence.
4) Weapon stats are better for 2h weapons than 1h, agreed.
5) You don't seem to get the point of Cleave. Cleave's speed is the same speed as if you were able to do a Raze and an attack with no latency between them. Its speed is raze + strike speed. It also does the damage up-front, instead of a raze/raze combo followed by attacks (Sojiro wastes so much time with his double-raze combos ).
6) It is difficult to use a 2h weapon without 2 arms, admittedly.
You left out:
7) 2h afflictions are better on the whole (amputate?)
So... I don't think I can agree that there's such a huge disparity here.
The bottom of the totem pole right now is actually BC.
