Does anyone know of mac native clients? I've been using my trusty and ancient Rapscallion client ( circa 1997-8 to present; OS9) and Atlantis (OSX). I'm not well versed in coding (at all) or anything outside of the very simple/finicky/sometimes crash inducing/one line only trigger system in Raps. Raps has been like my mudding erm.. blankie.. old, tattered, but comforting and familiar and hard pressed to be rid of. I've figured out how to make aliases with Atlantis, but not triggers. I rather liked Atlantis since IRE came standard on the worlds list, content.gif and it was shiny and new and seemed to have much potential. I know folks will likely say to just bootcamp it and use mudlet or some other thing, but I'd rather keep it native. So, any new developments out there for mac mu* ers?

Can't speak for how well it works since I don't touch Macs(might try to get access to one later for testing, even if via VM), but you might try Savitar if you want to try something new that is native to Mac:

Edit: ERK. It's not freeware. Bleh. Did find MudWalker, though:

I am familiar with Savitar as well, about as old as Raps I think.

I went from Raps to Savitar (briefly) to Atlantis to Tinyfugue, and finally Mudlet. Mudlet is by far the best... no need to use bootcamp, can run on Macs just fine.

Mudlet's the best client for Mac. by far.

Macbook here. Tried all of the native Mac clients you mentioned. Some of the clients have either lost support over the years, lag in development, or otherwise plain suck. Mudlet is the most recent, most developed, most wide-spread, and easiest to learn (in my opinion).

Mudlet. Mudlet. Mudlet.
