I know it's old, but I really, really do like this site! They encourage intelligence and give free rice to people who need it!

It's super easy. Just answer simple questions about Art, English, Chemistry, Geography, Language Learning or Math. For each answer correctly given, 10 grains of rice are given. The more you answer, the more they get.

Soo.. Why not give it a try?

I used to spend hours on this site. I think I contributed about thousands of grains every day back when I played daily.

Had actually never heard of this before. Should create a Lusternia group. I can see myself doing this at 4 am.

For some reason, I can't seem to click on the answers. Maybe it's Chrome or one of the extensions I'm using.

Oooh, apparently playing from the Group page seems to be different from the one on the homepage. Only the former counts for the group.

I'm using Chrome, so it's probably not the browser itself. Possibly an extension or something.

This is really cool and gets hard fast. I got stuck on 'shuck'. Funny how a lot of these words I only seem to come across in Lusternia...

I can't get past level 49 auuugh. I'll be on a roll, then they'll just throw a ton of weirdo words at me. I won't be able to rest until I hit 50.

Mm, I dunno. I did this for a little bit, then googled how much a grain of rice costs. I'd have to get 3704 questions right to give a dollars worth of rice, and the top contributer has given a little over $160 worth of rice. At one question a second, getting every one right, I can't give a dollar of rice. Life's too short, I'll give to charity now and then, and enjoy my adequate vocabulary

Yeah, I don't think anyone is saying there aren't better ways out there. But. Why not give extra?

And learn some crazity-assed words while you're at it. Or the other subjects for questions, but the words one is my favorite. Grammar only has like...a cycle of 25-ish really easy questions.

I got to level 60! It got odd though, because the more esoteric words could have double meanings. For example there was a word which was both the name of a nymph (water spirit) and who later was turned into a flute by pan (panflute). But the game would only allow panflute as the correct answer.
