For those who don't live in the US (or live in a box), it's NFL playoff season! And if you know me at all, I'm a die-hard football fan. So I figured, "Eh, we can get into playful banter with each other about our respective teams, and/or hate on each other, and/or discuss key players for the teams in play, and/or talk about previous games." (Yep, all of those and/or's).

So, anyhow, Go Patriots!! happy.gif

Every team that I wanted to win this weekend lost, except for the Packers.

My personal team (Cleveland), didn't make it, again. But there's hope for next year, I'd like to see Holmgren return.

I'm personally rooting for either Chicago or Green Bay to win. I'm rooting against the Jets, Ravens, and Steelers.

I'd be really excited if the Packers made it into the Super Bowl again, against the Patriots too, which would be an awesome rematch. Their last regular season game scared the crap out of me! As for NFC, I've always been something of a Seahawks fan, and their glorious win over the Saints gives me some hope that they MAY go far, though I highly doubt it.

Packers fan my whole life! Plus I'm very glad the Colts lost and the Seahawks won!

Steelers and Ravens for me! Which makes it really awkward on weeks like this one coming up, but on the bright side, I'm good either way!

Hmm. Is that the one where they run down the field trying to throw balls into hoops on poles...?
Shamarah2011-01-10 05:24:43
No, that's Quidditch.

>_>

Americans (and wizards I guess) have silly sports. Where're the wickets? Where's the tea?

The sport that takes 5 days and can still end up being a draw?

It's the only one we're good at, so hell yeah.

Eventru, you're the America of gods. Flashy and loud. You can't even try to hide that you don't know what football is.

Actually, I don't know much of anything about football. In fact, I stopped caring when someone tried to explain to me they get seven points for kicking a ball down a field through a metal... Thing, quite some distance away.

If I had to endure a sport, it'd be soccer. Or perhaps rugby.

Far more interesting, and europeans make for interesting drunks. Since if I'm watching it, I may as well be at a bar!
Unknown2011-01-10 06:22:48
Rugby is a good sport to watch. And I can tell drunk Europeans would just enhance it.
