I can't seem to copy and paste text from Notepad into Nexus, or vice versa. Used to work fine both ways, but since I updated Java it's like they're working with different clipboards. Anybody else have this problem or know what's up?

This my friend. Is your wake up call. Your computer is currently telling you to stop using Nexus. It's evil.

Other than that, I faintly remember nexus having it's own clipboard. I haven't used it in forever though. No idea.

Yes, it seems to have stopped working. Can't paste stuff from outside nexus into nexus, or the other way around. It is rather annoying.

Yeah, everyone seems to be getting this, it's pissing me off. Grr.

If this is a new feature and not something fixable, then I really will have to switch clients. Over half of what I do in this game requires some copying and pasting between Notepad and the client.

Mudlet comes with a built-in Notepad *urge* (even auto-remembers stuff for you! no manual save needed)

I also noticed that copy-pasting to or from Nexus wasn't working the other evening, but I just tried it now and it seems to be working again, much to my delight. I hope this means a fix was made to Nexus. Otherwise, the only difference I can think of was that I was using a Chrome browser before and Opera now, so Chrome was somehow interfering with copy-pasting.

Edit: I tried it with Chrome, and copy-pasting in or out of Nexus failed to work. Nor did Internet Explorer let it work. Maybe Opera is just special when it comes to playing nice between Nexus and Notepad/Word.

try selecting the text, then dragging it from notepad to the client. This even works from a web page to the client.
