I plan on bugging this soon, but A.) I felt like I couldn't explain the issue clearly enough without a log, and B.) I'm second guessing myself and wondering if I'm making some stupid mistake that someone can point out before I waste Admin time. So here we go
This is what happens normally, no problems.
A Nice smooth even progression to each momentum. So then, I resume fighting from a higher momentum level.
Again, nothing seems to be wrong to me here.

Now, notice I have 350 ka there, which means I can use it at Momentum 2+
Sometimes while I'm hunting and I move from room to room, I get this:
Now, CLEARLY the prompt shows that I have enough momentum to do that, and I've done it at those momentum levels before. I have no idea under what conditions this happens, or why it is happening, though usually it happens when I move from one empty room to another room with an intended target in it

Not sure if I'm right but I'm pretty sure I am.
Switching targets takes two momentum. If you try to attack a new target with that form at 3 momentum, it would use 2 momentum to switch to that target- but then you have only 1, so you can't actually execute it. So instead of trying, finding out you can't, and wasting the two momentum, it just skips that and tells you you can't do that.

It happens when the Prompt shows 4 or 5 momentum as well which would leave me at 3 or 2. I'll try to get a log of that happening also, just to be sure.

Well, just going off of what you had in the log up there, it looks like you just barely (assuming- no timestamps so can't tell really) missed trying to do it at four, so when it actually went through you only had three and thus couldn't follow through.
