Expanding the Planes

I don't know if this idea has already been discussed. If it has, please just note point to #1.

Point #1 - Please remove the blizzard on the Plane of Earth.

Point #2 - The Geomancers would like the opportunity to gather our Geomantic energies (obtained through special -guild- quests/tasks) to be able to do a series of things (like rituals) on the Earthen plane. One would be to expand it (i.e. add more rooms - which would take a lot of energy), create new creatures with or without dark essences, have some fun cool events to interact with the Plane for our novices, some secret/room effects, etc.

Personally, I would prefer that it really be non-combat stuff and more connected with the lore then anything else. Nothing to the effect like distort/flux but giving Geos more of a reason to spend time on the Plane then just go around killing the denizens.

I think "Contact your Patron" is the answer for this one. Ask Serenwilde - they expanded Ethereal Serenwilde quite recently.

Really?! I thought it was just limited to things like Guildhalls or other places within Cities...

The expansion isn't recent, but yeah, it happened. Poke the patron.

Such expansions are not things you can 'purchase'.

They may (may) be thrown in with other purchases at the administration's discretion.

I'd love to see bigger planes, even if guilds couldn't expand them themselves. They're all really small right now.

I'd much rather aetherspace was expanded, but yeah, new places to explore and new bits of lore and whatnot would be good.

Yes, I agree. I was just thinking that giving the guilds something fun to do while benefiting their Planes with be a worthwhile endeavor. I would prefer it to be something that happens very slowly too.

This makes me happy!

Personally, I love the idea of mage guilds being able to summon a special type of creature with a guild ritual-quest, so long as they were more for fun and arpee than for increasing essence.

After all, cities don't have to do anything to populate the Elemental Planes in the first place.

Ho boy. Let me just cut it off and say "Please don't turn this into a debate about essence gain from elemental planes vs power gain from totems debate".

Oh psh, I'm the last person you need to worry about starting a riot. Just saying, it would sort of be silly for a quest to generate more essence
for a city, given that Lords/Aspects are already able to be empowered and such. Now if this courtesy were extended to every organization at
once, we wouldn't have this problem.
