Okay, I know I can't possibly be the only fan here, because I see some other people with MLP avatars and stuff.

I tried searching the forums and did not find another topic about it.

So, who's a brony?

Ahem, you mean brony good sir.

And that would be me.

Part of me really wants to like the ponies. The other part keeps hearing my mom telling me over and over again how evil horses are in real life. And she'd know, growing up on a farm/ranch for some time.

So I only watch it sometimes. Usually with fiance, just cause I can make him watch it.

Horses aren't evil! I mean, they're like any other creature and each has its own personality. The only equestrian breed I would actually say are evil are Shetland ponies. They're like most small dogs.

Horses suck and so does My Little Pony.

I don't exactly buy into all the hype since at the end of the day it is still pretty formulaic and aesop-laden, but it is certainly much better-crafted than other kid's shows (particularly those aimed at girls...)

P.S Small dogs can be lovely, for example English cockers! Maybe you meant cats.

Also, Applejack is awesome.

Well, I like all of the main cast, but Applejack is probably my favorite.

No no, I mean small dogs. Like chiguaguas and Pomeranians. Now I don't think all small dogs are evil beings, but most of the ones I have encountered are little devil children. And cats are awesome.

@Llesvelt: Applejack is awesome. I think I like her the most simply because she's a southern pony and I'm Texan. lol.

I suppose it's no surprise that my favorite is Rainbow Dash. I like Spike though, but I like the way he was redrawn the worse. I do not like his personality change either. He was one of my favorite characters in the old version of my little pony. I always get a little sad when I see the new one.

That kind of Applejack is awesome too.

It's definitely leagues better then a lot of kids shows. I can think of a few moments that really had my cracking up.

For some reason, I always crack up at the way Rarity says "But Twiiiliiight!" in the episode Ticket Master.

There is an 11 page thread with MLP meme's on my EVE alliance forums. I happily contributed to it. Alas, I am only a wannabe brony as I've not yet taken it so far as to actually watch the damn show. I'm sure peer pressure will have me fold in a moment of weakness and boredom though
