Never liked Apple products despite (or perhaps because of) being forced to use them back in the early 90's, but, I always admired him and his vision. He forced others to push forward where otherwise they may have stagnated and for that we owe him a debt.

I feel the same. I've never been into the Apple thing, but have plans to eventually buy an iPod Touch.. I've used PC all my life, but I recognize the invaluable contributions by Jobs to technology and to business. I have no doubt his influence has extended beyond the sphere of Apple products. Even Windows 7, I am told, took some inspiration from OS.

Without a doubt. He has always been a bridge between form and function in the technological age, the modern day Bauhaus god. Seeing technology in the hands of humans...
