Could you make it so that way alchemists or possibly herbalists can make NON-enhancement perfumes? You know, maybe just something that smells like vanilla, and that people can see every once in a while, or if they SMELL you.

We generally don't introduce something purely for flavour.
We can certainly add some flavour-y functionality to perfume, but I'm fairly certain that already exists.

Lies! Sulfur has a flavour!
taste sulfur
You unstopper an athame shaped vial and cautiously lick the rim. You realize that it tastes salty.
Lendren2011-12-10 12:52:02
What does salt taste like?
Ssaliss2011-12-10 12:54:56
A bag of salt does not have a distinct taste.
Lendren2011-12-10 13:02:45
But it might in a vial, like the sulfur did.
Ssaliss2011-12-10 13:09:21
Possible, but I don't have any magical salt on me :( Still interesting that a salt bag doesn't taste like salt though :P

You unstopper a garnet vial and cautiously lick the rim. You realize that it has a soupy taste to it.

A "soupy" taste? That's... rather non-specific. Tomato soup, spinach soup, miso soup?
Lendren2011-12-11 13:38:12
So now we need to find a via of soup and see if it tastes like sulfur, or if there's more in the chain.

And then if we take the third letter of each word in the chain, and line them up in reverse order, we can predict the future. Nicolas Cage stars.

Are there BEEEEEEEEEES in the future?
