This is a simple influencer I put together when a bunch of clan mates were complaining about having to make their own. I said, "It's easy, I can do it five minutes," and they said, "Fine then, do it."

Right click, save as, import, you know the drill. Must have gmcp enabled, which requires Mudlet 2.0+. You'll need to either login or check AB INFLUENCE after you import, so it can find out what skills you have. You'll also want to go to the bottom of the skill finder script, and replace the city influence abilities with the ones appropriate for your org.

The main alias is 'inf ', for example, 'inf dwarf charity', or 'inf commissar empower'. You can switch between room mode or single target mode with 'inf room' or 'inf one'. Use 'inf stop' if you need to turn it off, and 'inf' by itself will show what mode you are in. WARNING: Room mode disables a trigger, and sets a variable for the echoes to use. When you close Mudlet, that trigger will still be disabled, but the variable will not be saved. So when you start it again, it will be in room mode, but checking 'inf' will say it's in single target mode. I suggest setting the mode explicitly when you first start influencing for the day.

Serious Business - it's a slang contraction, not an acronym. SeRiouS BiZNess.

He means that gmcp can output skillset data, so you don't need to use AB, though the way gmcp does the entire skillset thing is weird.

It's just basically:

To update the table, then the values are available in the gmcp.Char.Skills.List.list table.

Creating an alias to run:

display(gmcp.Char.Skills.List.list)
Will display the table.

Ah, mhmm, there it is. I knew you had to call up that particular skill in GMCP, but I didn't remember how exactly it was managed.

The easiest way to manage how it works, certainly for me is to just grab a specific skillset when needed. Alias/Trigger? up to you. You can then compare the length of table table and assuming we are looking for Praise, for example:

skills.praise = true
end

It's a never-ending playground, GMCP. :)

Edit: Forgot to mention. Either send a newline after the sendGMCP() or disable MCCP.

Draylor, if you had bothered to actually look at my code, you would see that it does use gmcp, and much more effectively than your example. It sends the request on login, but checking the ab sends the exact same gmcp message from the server as requesting it yourself. Hence why I said you could do either after importing it. Not every time you startup. I had to listen to someone complain in the Mudlet clan about having to restart everything just so scripts would work, so I thought including a way to get started without having to relog would be a good idea.

Using the length of the table does not work for influencing, because of the special city influence abilities. If the table has 23 items in it, it is possible that you only have up to conspiracies or wheedling, and two or three city influences. If you have at least one city influence, "Special" will be included in the gmcp table, followed by the city abilities.

Another problem came up...log included. Basically, instead of alternating between compliments and admiration (my two empower skills currently) it'll input both at the same time, as such. Log:
