Hello! I know some races are still a little light on racial emotes compared to others (hmph, spoiled lucidians!), so if anyone has any suggestions, please post them! If you're new to designing emotes, here's a sample:

1st: You smile.
3rd: Zvoltz smiles.
1st Targetted: You smile at Estarra.
2nd Targetted: Zvoltz smiles at you.
3rd Targetted: Zvoltz smiles at Estarra.

Yesss.

I'm going to suggest the following for dracnari:

SMOKEPUFF (a less irritable-looking, unshaped BLOWSMOKE)

1st: You take a breath, your nostrils briefly glowing, then purse your lips and puff out a little cloud of smoke.
3rd: Dracnari takes a breath, his/her nostrils briefly glowing, then purses his/her lips and puffs out a little cloud of smoke.
1st T: You take a breath, your nostrils briefly glowing, then purse your lips and puff out a little cloud of smoke at Target.
2nd T: Dracnari takes a breath, his/her nostrils briefly glowing, then purses his/her lips and puffs out a little cloud of smoke at you.
3rd T: Dracnari takes a breath, his/her nostrils briefly glowing, then purses his/her lips and puffs out a little cloud of smoke at Target.

TAILTHUMP

1st: You thump your tail against the ground, a raspy clicking sound rising from the back of your throat.

1st T: You flick your tongue out to taste the air around Target, evaluating his/her scent.

Are racial emotes allowed to set poses, as well? I kind of want to do one that's a fake-basking emote.

Taurian emotes! This is a thing that must be a thing!

CUD
1st: You belch softly, regurgitating a small portion of bland cud that you chew contentedly.
3rd: Svana belches softly to herself before shifting her jaw to chew on a bit of cud.
1st Targeted: You cast a placid stare at Target and mindlessly chew on a bit of cud.
2nd Targeted: Svana shifts her attention to you and offers a dull stare as she chews quietly on some cud.
3rd Targeted: Svana stares at Target and chews on some cud, clearly unamused.

BELLOW
1st: You scrape one hoof across the ground and snort loudly before spreading your arms and releasing a bellow of rage!
3rd: Svana scrapes one hoof across the ground and snorts loudly before spreading her arms and bellowing furiously!
1st Targeted: You turn your gaze to Target and snort loudly before releasing a rage filled bellow at him/her.
2nd Targeted: Svana turns to you and snorts loudly before releasing a menacing, bullish bellow!

HORNSCRATCH
1st: You scratch at the base of your horns in confusion.

2nd Targeted: Svana casts a quizzical look at you and scratches at the base of her horns, obviously puzzled.
3rd Targeted: Svana casts a quizzical look at Target and scratches at the base of her horns in puzzlement.

These probably aren't all that great, but Taurian need some love. Moo!

I have no suggestions, I just want to emphasize that I think cud looks like a lot of fun.

Shadowcaster faeling emotes! (Can we be that specific? Maybe that's a Blacktalon/Shadowdancer specific emote with their red glowy eyes :3)

REDFURY

1st: You narrow your eyes in quiet fury, a red haze clouding your vision.
3rd: Svorai's eyes flash with a red glow, her expression communicating her quiet fury.
1st Targetted: You narrow your eyes at Estarra in quiet fury, a red haze clouding your vision.
2nd Targetted: Svorai's eyes flash with a red glow as she turns on you, her expression communicating her quiet fury.

FURL

1st: Giving your wings a final beat, you carefully furl them close to your body.

Could make the keph female equivalent of the lucidian glowing, if someone felt up for it. Afterall, kephbutts could glow more than the colour green!

I like the idea of something that emphasises how superior they feel to the other races, but I have no specific concepts (beyond something that lets them loom ominously, which is not terribly specific).

I was thinking the same thing. A racial 'pearls'.

Hive King Azus Ankhemotep here!
While the subject is open to discussion, I'd like to raise a few discrepancies that I haven't yet worked up the nerve to officially report. They're totally relevant.

The kephera have two emotes, ANTENNAE (for all) and SOFTGLOW (available only to Females).
SOFTGLOW specifies the Female's glowbutt and eyes to be green, but that isn't the case for most kephera. Queen Khementen glows blue. Akhari, amber/orange. Mumhatuti, yellow. Neferti, ruby.
SOFTGLOW should be changed to be colour-neutral, remaining ambiguous to permit the Female to glow whatever colour she pleases.

Following on from this, Hive Kings and princes also have glowing abdomens. Ankhomotep has cobalt blue, Nefomotep, ruby and his prince, a regal gold. SOFTGLOW should consider this.

Similarly, according to the art depicting the kephera on the Lusternia.com website, it's clear that they do not have mandibles. This is contradicted by Hive Queen Tutotophet, so I'm not sure whether we have them or not. I recall an ambient regarding mandible-clicking to make a buzzing noise, and I'm certain it wasn't a player's emote. If they do indeed have mandibles;

CHITTER
1st: You click your mandibles together energetically, chittering to yourself.
3rd: Azus chitters to himself with speedy movements of his mouth-parts.
1st Targetted: You chitter at Azus, with energetic clicks of your mandibles.
2nd Targetted: Azus chitters at you with quickly clicks of his mandibles.
3rd Targetted: Azus chitters at Jhen, his mandibles clicking energetically.

PSICRACKLE - Female only
1st: You focus your mind and concentrate, filling the air with a crackling psionic energy.
3rd: Jhen stills herself for a moment as her eyes glow brighter and the air begins to crackle.
1st Targetted: You gaze at Azus briefly, the air around him crackling with focussed energy.
2nd Targetted: Jhen gazes at you for a brief moment, her eyes glowing as the air around you crackles with energy.
3rd Targetted: Jhen turns her gaze on Azus and the air around him begins to crackle beneath her glowing glare.

I might think of more later when it isn't 3:30am.

1st Targeted: With a running leap, you catapult yourself above the unsuspecting form of Blooredi who startles as you nimbly land in front of Him.
2nd Targeted: Startled, you squeak in surprise as Mugowumpois unexpectedly drops from the sky and lands in front of you.
3rd Targeted: Grinning, you watch as Mugowumpois takes a running leap and nimbly lands in front of Blooredi, startling a surprised squeak out of Him.
