These are all pretty solid ideas!

If you're not going to remove the withdrawal fee, have it calculate and withdraw the 2% fee for you, at least.
So if you're going to withdraw 20000, have it automatically try to take 20400 instead.

Well, the optimal would be if they combined both suggestions above. But yeah, that'd be a good change too! Or at least a new command (or an argument to withdraw) that makes it work like that, and normal withdraw still takes 2% from the specified amount.

Both ideas sound fantastic. It would breathe life into something that is relatively unused by the majority of the playerbase.

-looks into the future- "We cannot remove the 2% withdrawal fee because it's hard-coded as part of Rapture." >_>?

As another idea, I'd like if banks had a 'vault' where you could deposit items that otherwise clutter up your inventory or the floor of your manse/stockroom. If it slowed decay time for an upkeep fee, that would be neat too. But I'd take it without that for a place to leave curios, scavenger hunt items etc.

No such excuse. Achaea had a .5% withdrawal fee last I checked :P

Ooooh I like the stable fees idea.

Hrm. I thought there was a manse safe artifact?

Heard Achaea also has an artifact that deposits direct to account without fees : A jingling coinpurse. This item allows the owner to access his or her personal bank accounts from anywhere! As an added bonus, it bypasses the withdrawal fee!
It was an auction arti, but still.

I was once told by someone that there is a fee to not make theft impossible. Afaik Achaea is an IRE title that has classes that work around theft. Argument suddenly no longer holds ground.
With that said, yes to both ideas!

Would auto deposits/withdrawls notifications be some kind of log or by messages. I can just see people freaking out when their account hits zero 'for no reason' or getting spammed to hell when somone buys out all your kegs one refill at a time.
Ssaliss2012-08-02 16:01:09
Ah, forgot that. Yeah; for personal accounts, a message at the change of the year for shops/when it happens for ads and beasts. For orgs, a log entry.
