I meant that Shadowcaster Faelings are meant to have all shadowy, dark skin and batwings and glowing red eyes. You're Blacktalon, right? But the picture's very nice for now, anyway...

I didn't notice anything that said all Glommies had to have bat wings and glowing red eyes and dark skin! shhh

It's in HELP FAELINGS. It kinda annoyed me too, actually, because my faeling was heading in a slightly different direction looks-wise, but I kinda cheated because it was only slightly different and I had what I thought was a reasonable excuse *duck*.

*cough* well her wings look kinda bat-like.....kinda.. and I swear I could just see a hint of red in her eyes, you just have to look really closely..or maybe aurella's just abnormal

So now I've seen Bau's daughters descriptions (Sianne and Aurella, both look enough like Bau except they've got -straight- hair), so perhaps if someone's got some free time, they'd like to draw Bau for me? I can probably rustle up some creds to pay for it if that's what it takes, so... yeah.

This is my current description (damn having to change when I became Blacktalon GM!}

She is a nimble shadowcaster faeling and rather fragile in appearance. Her
skin, while almost translucent, is dark, seemingly rife with shadows, and large
golden curls tumble around her face and shoulders. Huge almond shaped eyes
stare out from a heart-shaped face, deep red in colour with thick, nearly
invisible lashes. The tips of her ears poke out from behind the curls, the very
tops pointed slightly back. Her tiny frame is lithe and graceful in appearance,
not a spare ounce of flesh to be seen. Wings flow gracefully from her shoulders
and back, batlike in shape and an icy, translucent blue in colour, streaks of
darker blue and violet running through them.

before I hear complaints, nobody said they had to be batlike in texture, material or anything else different. And sue me for being lazy while yer at it, I -liked- my original description.

*grin* In fact, they only have to be more batlike than normal faeling wings. Which is really very subjective

Yep, which is why I didn't bother to change the wings. Otherwise I would have made slightly more of an effort to change them.

Aww! Aurella looks beautiful! But as others said, once she gets out of novicehood, she'll turn all dark and bat-like and icky. So! She should come join the Seren. It'll do wonders for her complexion and let her stay looking the way she does! Don't trust those other leading brands - Serenwilde: gentle on the skin so you can lead a healthy life!
