Here's a little pic of me, bat wings n all.

Nice! Did you do that yourself, or find it on the web?
Persephonia2004-12-24 19:50:23
I wish I could draw
I found it on the web, on one of my all time favorite sites. I think the link's been posted before, but here it is again:
http://fantasygallery.net/
I've been able to find almost anything there, it's so awesome.

Awesome pic!

Thank you!
It wasn't exactly what I envisioned, but it was too close to almost perfect

What Tuelis is supposed to look like. Only did the head ... will do the rest of the body as soon as I find enough gold to get into a decent outfit other than the gray newbie ones

Will have self-drawn pic soon.

Eh, I'm not entering the artisan contest, since the credits are best used by players who will be ... playing... more than me. (That, and I don't want to give the rights away, even if it's just the Lusternia website thing)
So, anyway, I'm posting a link to my character artwork of Iscarak Ioskia.
He's a Trill. (one of the human-with-wings versions :)
He is a feathered trill and has iridescent black skin and green eyes. A crest of tall golden feathers starts between where his eyebrows would be, were he human, and proceeds back in a wide 'v', the crest feathers becoming progressively shorter until they blend in with the smooth, soft, shiny bronze feathers covering the rest of his back and the outer sides of his arms and legs. Those feathers of his chest, inner arms and legs, that you can see beneath his garments and armor are a deep golden color, much like his crest. When standing, his golden wings arch up from behind, angled out just a bit, pinions not quite brushing the ground.

Could I tell you again how much I absolutely adore Iscarak's gauntlets/boots?
Shiri2005-01-22 19:36:53
Oooh. I'd never seen that picture before. Those gaunts ROCK.
Maedhros2005-01-23 02:49:29
This is what I want Maedhros to look like. Unfortunately, I don't even have enough credits to get near Trans all of my guildskills (if I'd want to risk getting busted for fraud, I would've at least made it more...I'm innocent damnit!), let alone Riding.
Though right now it's more like:

Thanks for the kind words. I still wish I could draw and paint scenes more realistically. (The inked/watercolored look is pretty good, but it could be so much better)... nowhere near as good as Sumiko's art... or that stuff people find in those galleries.
Anyway, the point of the picture was to get across my character's look, and it does that, so I'm happy enough with it.
By the time I'm drawing good enough to win the artisan contests, I might actually play the game. (That is, if Styrta or a similar city comes into existance... I can't stand the cities that exist right now... blech)

Amaru2005-01-23 19:56:47
I need to somehow make this more human, but... lessee, for starters..
Raan2005-01-28 19:55:49
Charis and Sonata (I know Im probably going to die for this)
Lunarisiil2005-01-28 20:14:00
Aww, sweet.
Daganev2005-01-28 21:23:59
Amaru, do you have photoshop? if so, Find the face of a human you like, take your wolf image and set it to screen/soft light/ or overlay. put it on the layer above the human, do some transformation tweaking, probabbly with distort, and voila you should have a more human looking wolf.
ofcourse, if you make a 3d model of a human head, and use that wolf picture as a texture it will be even easier.

Friend did this for me
Lunarisiil2005-01-31 05:21:53
Aw, I like it! It looks just like how I picture Laysus.
Shiri2005-02-01 13:21:08
...huh, that is pretty cool. I always thought of Laysus as a bit more aggro having met him in Achaea first though, but still.
Laysus2005-02-01 16:06:54
I actually aimed to have Laysus something like that picture portrayed
My achaean character's a lot more mature, and dark than Laysus, who's just a big kid at heart.
