Are you going to skoolies @ the gold coast?
210546
Probably not, being 21.
But then again... large numbers of drunk 17 and 18 year old girls celebrating their freedom on the beach. Maybe I will.
A girl I do capoeira with is just finishing year 12 and going to schoolies. Maybe I should visit. You know. Make sure her and her friends don't get it into any trouble. Be a responsible influence, you know?

QCS rocked I came back to NSW after year 11, they made me repeat year 11 and then I dropped out halfway through year 12 just because HSC sucked. It's insane.
Kharne2005-10-23 05:08:08
Isthe HSC hardcore?
Kiarlea2005-10-23 06:36:45
It just sucks. I wasn't interested after Queensland schooling for two years.

Sorry Tenq, looks like Alger and I won't be meeting up with you anytime soon... you missed out last Christmas when we met up with Aeva, hee!

Yeah but Aeva is a evil diva, well i hope we're talking about the same person anyway.
Jadryga2005-10-23 18:00:33
We are, she's cool, we had salt and pepper calamari at Cafe Primo, truffles from Haigh's, and met up with some cute couple where the guy was huge and the girl was tiny So cute. I think the girl's name was... Sam?

heh when i went through the hsc all that year (no sp) ago it was lame, our teachers calmed us down by telling us it was the hardest yr 12 test in australia which was just great for morale.
Kharne2005-10-23 21:44:10
haha, your teachers sounded awesome....lol
My mindset is i have given it my best and if i dont go good, oh well.

It really isn't, though. There is way too much hype about the HSC; both concerning how difficult it is and how important it is meant to be. Neither are as great as we're told in school.

Merry meet everyone, a new soul for the mix here... born in bris, and grew up here and there, currently residing in back in bris I'm new to the basin, some of you knew me as Shepard, but I'm now known as Lysander, plus I was with the Great Glomdoring, but alas....
happy to see so many close to home
hopefully our pathes might cross in the basin
But till then, what more could I say then
Blessed be.

Psh, The Aussie Newcastle is the best, cant speak for the english newcastle though, since Australia evolved through Britain and our ancestors mostly are from britain youd think they wouldnt use the same name twice, unless I'm missing something.
Unknown2006-01-08 14:21:11
Well not really, usually new places, are named after their country of origin, rather then something completly new. It's quite hard to come up with decent names, that will be remembered forever.

So it's a mudpit with a purpose, whoop-de-doo. Birds are a hazard in Townsville... birds and RAAF bases do not mix.

Those RAAF people have the right idea. Townsville, best seen from 30000 feet going somewhere else.

I'm in Noosa, QLD.
(To any and all stalkers: I warn you, I am tall, I do Karate and I have a battle-axe, hunt me down, and you shall perish)
Yrael2006-03-03 01:42:33
Noosa sounds familiar. I'm sure I went there once. On a holiday, when I was like.. 8. Probably the same year I discovered nudity in public.
