Heh! I got steamed by a Divine in front of the entire world...it isn't that bad....but yes, I do believe that correction should be done in tells...that should just be a common sense part of leadership to me.

The thing with roleplay is that it is all about the realm that YOU occupy as a character. If you can accept that certain channels of communication exist that help you interract with other characters, then you can comfortably RP. If you have problems accepting some facts about this and many other MUD realms, then you will always have problems.
What winds me up is people who whinge about how everyone else is crap at roleplay. It's a bit like running out into the street shouting at everyone else for wearing the wrong t-shirts. IRE games have tons of opportunity to RP which doesn't have to revolve around buying arties and being evil all the time.
In my simple mind, talking about the latest footie results or your best bands is bad RP, everything else that is directly related to stuff in the realm (not outside it) is ok.
