Ah, more yorkies. So that makes...3 Lincolnshirefolk? That's higher than I expected, Alef, Amaru and I. (Amaru, don't kill me, you did post it in the general forums!)

Problem is finding the middle spot, if its just english people, then nottingham is a good middle spot, if we have scots then the middle ends up being Leeds, and souterners whine, in fact southerners whine if they have to travel northe of Milton Keynes tongue.gif

Ooh. Nottingham is good. I'm an hour's drive from N'ham, I could like...take a train or...something. Or yeah. If anyone here wants to organise anything, I'd do my best to convince my rents to let me show up happy.gif
Unknown2005-02-01 16:44:59
Nottingham is an hour from me as well, an hour and a half if I have to take the train.

Even when I was at Uni in York, I could get to Nottingham in an hour and a half. Of course you could just come to Manchester because its better than everywhere else wink.gif
Shiri2005-02-01 16:59:35
0_o You too huh? Hrm, did YOU know Kuruvar and Nirantis and all the rest from Achaea?
Unknown2005-02-01 17:00:37
I knew that they were from up here, I know a lot of IRE players are from up here, but I only know the ones that I knew before I played IRE.
Shiri2005-02-01 17:16:57
Ohhh, right. Hm, well, anyway, Nottingham is still good. Some adult should organise this tongue.gif
Unknown2005-02-01 17:18:40
Awww but that means I have to do all the work sad.gif Plus moving to singapore next month, so would have to be soon if we could organise something.
Shiri2005-02-01 17:28:15
Eek, for good? Darn. And okay, but you're not the ONLY adult around. tongue.gif
Laysus2005-02-01 18:59:02
Shush, you. I'm technically an adult pureevil.gif
Shiri2005-02-01 19:04:38

Wheee. Has it still got sticky black carpet and sell lukewarm snakebite and black?

My teenage years were spent hiking up to Nottingham for gigs and the friday 'goth' nights, sleeping in the trent poly car park and trying to avoid fights with footie yobs outside the little kebab shop off the main square.

Last time I went, the highlight was pizza at Zizzi's but Nottingham is still a top place.

Rock City *shudder* That place is such a dive, give me Rock World any day of the week wink.gif

Rock City was the centre of my world until I realised rock and roll is for the kids and there are better places to spend the night than the trent poly car park.

I think Nottingham has a lot more to offer now though. Is Rock World in Nottingham?
Unknown2005-02-04 11:27:42
No its in Manchester. And yeah I am at the, Rock clubs are for teenagers and scary 40 year olds that should no better stage, too. The 4 or 5 times I ever went to Rock City it was just *shudder*. But as a school kid from the age of like 16 - 21 I was in Rock World 2 or 3 times a week, it was all bad.
