I hate how they put ZEEs in everything.

Realise.

Organise.

Shiri2005-04-01 10:23:35
ZEDs, not ZEEs. wink.gif

That is really good biggrin.gif

*imagines an American version of Monty Python and Fawlty Towers*

"The horrible images in your head makes you slip into a coma and die. Your Vitae fizzles uselessly, and so deep is your anguish you may not PRAY FOR SALVATION."

Talking of Americans ruining brilliant comedies, I am really hoping the Hollywood version of Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy is ok. sad.gif wacko.gif huh.gif

If they do kill it, I will never forgive them!
Still Stephen Fry is in it, so there's still hope smile.gif

Although it's not all bad, some American comedies (Frasier and the new one Two and a Half Men on channel 5) are not bad.

yay... lots of English people..

I'm from the south west: Wiltshire, Dorsetshire, Hampshire.. that sort of area - I've moved a bit. You buggers all seem to be northern though. Anyway, I'm in Cambridge currently.. which is kind of northern from my perspective.

Okay, so I'm just posting because I'm considering something Morik said to me the other day (so blame him if this sounds like a demand or something tongue.gif) is there anyone I know from England that might want to come meet me or something in Sleaford? unsure.gif There's not a lot to do around here, but there's a cinema in Lincoln...or we could just walk around and chat or something. I don't know. blush.gif (If you can and feel like it some time it would be great to phone, Ibby/Sylphas/Shorlen/Some others I can't remember have my number).

Position of Sleaford related to bournemouth/southampton? Trains available?
I can try to drop by for a saturday afternoon beer when I come around. But I am not letting my bf drive with so many british going around the wrong side of the road... dangerous tongue.gif

I'm 17, too young to go in the pubs here I'm afraid. dry.gif

Trains...maybe. Bournemouth, you're hours away I think. Bourne you might be better off. tongue.gif

Mmm it seems it's 4h train, and as I am being there only for a weekend I doubt I can make it (my only free day is saturday, and I already have appointments with friends).
Maybe when we do a longer trip smile.gif And you might be even able to drink beer then! smile.gif

Shiri2005-11-07 15:09:56
biggrin.gif Might be nice at the time. I'm wondering if anyone wants to meet in the more immediate future though. blush.gif I hate to ask though sad.gif Sorry!
Manjanaia2005-11-07 16:25:07
Come to Hull, you'll get mugged but there's an excellent train service happy.gif
Aiakon2005-11-07 16:45:01

You know where Lincoln is? We're a half hour's drive from that. Maybe 30-45 minutes from Boston? unsure.gif
Aiakon2005-11-09 12:17:58
just looked you up on multimap.... yer not actually all that far away from me.. My problem is that anything north of Birmingham/Leicester/Peterborough might as well be in Scotland for all I know. And I had no idea there was an English Boston. But then.. I guess those yanks have to get their names from somewhere. No imagination. tongue.gif

thumup.gif That's exactly it.

Anyway, yeah, I'm like that about anything out of my county, frankly. dry.gif

Peterborough is what, an hour's drive? Leicester about the same. Although I always confuse Leicester with Leasingham (small village in the vicinity) somehow. dry.gif
