I was (still am?) Zaltan on Achaea - I think he's still there but I don't play him - and I played as Zlayer on AnsibleMOO (my first every MU*)

Ansible? Is that that Orson Scott Card Battle School one? I played that for a very short time... Loved the idea, but there was never anyone around due to me living on the other side of the world from most people (And I couldn't be bothered to learn to use the battle room properly *snicker*)

Since so many people seem to have figured it out already, I was Diminish in Achaea. Though I'm trying not to be as annoying in Lusternia as I was in Achaea.

I actually LIKE being one of the first one's here. I don't suppose you were in the guild at the same time as me, but I was always the one saying being old and wise is good and arguing with the people crying about how old they were at 40 odd.

I had two big characters I played in Achaea, after my first.

First: Gimalos (didnt know how to play, suicided)

Second: Titan (got pissed after getting kicked out o two guilds and quit)

Third: Abhorsen (got very strong, betrayed paladins and shallam, quit)

Now: Dan (on Lusternia!! Whee!)

for a while there I had some creative names... and now I dont, heh.

I have a pretty good guess as to who you were, even though Larkin is everyone's uncle! I think that even people who aren't his nieces/nephews just call him Uncle Larkie out of some demented sort of respect. It's like a Mother Goose Mafia thing.

I have had characters in Achaea besides Larkin, actually, and I've never told anyone. Larkin's my second character in any MUD.

Jorgus was my first, but I didn't like being evil very much. Landmarking pretty well sucked for evil types, and this was before Mhaldor was even built!

I've played some throw-away alts, too, just for something new and to get away from some of the responsibility to have a little fun. I was Wexlur (Sentinel novice), Wurtyl (Occultist, Sentaari, Tanjinn novice), and Agroskavinsk (Priest novice).

I have two characters in Lusternia, but one is definitely my main character. Funny how my main character in both Achaea and Lusternia is actually the second character I created in each game.
