Nika says that's mean of you! She also cowers in the corner and goes *whimper* from the heavy object.
She does this from my user because she's still reeling from the scanner thing, and cannot log onto her user for psychological reasons (Read: Cannot be bothered).

Yes, well, I thought setting all those aggro Aussies on me was pretty mean. And besides, I know she'll just do all that dragonball Z stuff and come and kick my butt even if I do hit her with the heavy thing. Which is SO unfair.

What's that? Take two weeks to throw a punch at you? I never followed that football crap, except for the Female Soccer at the Olympics.
Yukari2004-12-27 08:53:38

How many Dragon Ball Z characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
One, but it takes four episodes!

Dyamn, Maedhros, I was going to do that one to reply to Jalain but I thought everyone would kill me for it
Unknown2005-01-03 08:25:24
I was (still am?) Zaltan on Achaea - I think he's still there but I don't play him - and I played as Zlayer on AnsibleMOO (my first every MU*)
Shoshana2005-01-03 11:23:21
Ansible? Is that that Orson Scott Card Battle School one? I played that for a very short time... Loved the idea, but there was never anyone around due to me living on the other side of the world from most people (And I couldn't be bothered to learn to use the battle room properly *snicker*)
Nortia2005-01-03 18:50:56
Since so many people seem to have figured it out already, I was Diminish in Achaea. Though I'm trying not to be as annoying in Lusternia as I was in Achaea.
Anarias2005-01-04 08:18:39
I remember Diminish. The only annoying thing about her was that she would never leave Bella's before she got dragon! *mumble*

Yep, it's based on Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game. And, yep, same with me, I lived on the otherside of the world and I tried to learn the battle room, but never really succeeded .

I remember Diminish too, kinda. In the way a then-lowbie remembers a big person.

Blame Vardoulacha for that! Vardy's the one who got me started bashing Bella's. And psh, I did leave Bella's alone for a couple levels when I practically lived down in UW.

Yeah. *nodnod* It's scary beginning to be in this big secret sect thing of aged people, who can sit back and reminisce and the kids have no idea what they're talking about.

Yeah, and at least we can pretend to be old and learned to all the Imperian/Aetolia people.
I actually LIKE being one of the first one's here. I don't suppose you were in the guild at the same time as me, but I was always the one saying being old and wise is good and arguing with the people crying about how old they were at 40 odd.
Dan2005-01-05 06:05:26
I had two big characters I played in Achaea, after my first.
First: Gimalos (didnt know how to play, suicided)
Second: Titan (got pissed after getting kicked out o two guilds and quit)
Third: Abhorsen (got very strong, betrayed paladins and shallam, quit)
Now: Dan (on Lusternia!! Whee!)
for a while there I had some creative names... and now I dont, heh.

I remember Larkin, I think he was an uncle or something of mine. I also remember sparring him (looong time ago) to get triggers and stuff, and I couldn't get him off his damn horse! I was a Monk by the way, so you'd know why I want to get him on the ground.

The ol' days when I was still a Sorcerer. Now that I'm a Serpentlord, I sold all my mounts. They don't hide so well.
I have a pretty good guess as to who you were, even though Larkin is everyone's uncle! I think that even people who aren't his nieces/nephews just call him Uncle Larkie out of some demented sort of respect. It's like a Mother Goose Mafia thing.
Unknown2005-01-07 15:53:26
I have had characters in Achaea besides Larkin, actually, and I've never told anyone. Larkin's my second character in any MUD.
Jorgus was my first, but I didn't like being evil very much. Landmarking pretty well sucked for evil types, and this was before Mhaldor was even built!
I've played some throw-away alts, too, just for something new and to get away from some of the responsibility to have a little fun. I was Wexlur (Sentinel novice), Wurtyl (Occultist, Sentaari, Tanjinn novice), and Agroskavinsk (Priest novice).
I have two characters in Lusternia, but one is definitely my main character. Funny how my main character in both Achaea and Lusternia is actually the second character I created in each game.

Because I'm getting a number of players just realizing this and talking to me about it in-game, I'll quote myself for all you new converts:
