Aside from possessing a distressing amount of knowledge in regards to what makes black rams tick, I also do the poetry thing on occasion. Who'da thunk it? Given that I find these not-so-little creatures adorable, I've taken it upon myself to immortalize them in verse (since you knew someone was going to eventually, given how nobody can leave those "goofy example subjects" alone for long; see also: poetic horkval erotica). Enjoy, or do not enjoy.

Oh lithovore, your semblance calmly curled
About a boulder small, on which you feast
Your stony meal all you want in this world
Mere rock alone; no need for grain or yeast
With diamond teeth you crunch on exposed shale
For igneous and sediment delight
Your gemstone tongue. Dairuchi marble pale
Or uncut diamond? What's the choice tonight?
You roam the mountainside or dark sea-floor
Both cousins search for coral or for jade
The clouds of steam that trail you I adore
And every stony bite-mark you have made
Sweet rockeater, your gentle nature keep
And I will stand your vigil while you sleep

I think they're cute, anyway.

Excellent!

How about a sequel about how we experience-hungry adventurers shatter it's secluded life, storming in and slaughtering them with spell, sword, and health potion wink.gif

You're awesome Mary! smile.gif

Ya. This is awesome stuff, I could never write something like that...

The ode is almost as cool as the rockeaters are.
And rockeaters aren't only cool, they're cute too - especially the small one in Dairuchi, if you want to push him when the quest isn't ready yet he sniffles... awww.

I wish I could creatively write.

Wow, that's quite impressive. I'd like to read "poetic horkval erotica", now. Where is it? smile.gif

I hereby revive this topic, in the honour of the long lost Mary, who is missed by all.

I give my respect.

Super bump!

But yes, that is a neat poem. Where'd she go, anyway?
