We have more than enough ideas floating around to keep you guys interested for a long time with expansions. Also, don't rule out some of the other places mentioned on the graphical map that haven't appeared yet. Also, building is still continuing in all the major areas you are playing right now, so don't be surprised if new things pop up in old familiar places. wink.gif

Any plans for builder applications anytime soon? I'm more than happy to be given a concept and told to make it happen, and I missed out on the chance to get really into it the first time around sad.gif

Builder applications is a good question.

We're still largely concentrating on bug fixes at the moment. Once some larger building projects get underway and we need help, we'll let you know.

Since I happen to be a well-known explorer, I've noticed many things about possible guilds for Gaugigau... arg. Anyways, in history they tell of us of a Gaurdian archetype, the Illumati, and then the Mage archetype, the Pyromancers. What they don't tell us is the Warrior archetype, but if you happen to have ever fought a Dracnari in Skarch, you'll notice they use Tekura (not in full combos, but in like a sidekick that does good damage, or a sweepkick that trips). When Gaudigauch comes out, it'll p

I'm intrested in what the Vortex and Continuum will be like. We have teh ligth and dark theme between Celestia and Nil, but what will the other two be like?

And will one have to be able to fly, to traverse the Air Elemental Plane? Will you get ingured without proper protection from fire whiel on the Fire Elemental Plane?

Yeah, that will be interesting to see how any hard conflicts are presented. The only conflicts between them in the history was caused by their respective citizens demeanors, and dislike of the demeanor of the other city.

The immediate one that jumps out to me... Vortex = chaos, Continuum = order. Just off the top of my head.

Ooh, good thinking, I didn't consider it that way yet, I bet you're right. lady Lisaera mentioned something like: If there's enough people wanting Hallifax or Gaudiguch back, it'll happen. Anyone got an idea how many people want Hallifax back?
Gaetele2004-10-31 13:47:45
Me, DEFINITELY. Fire and Wind are my two favorite "elements" in the sense of fire, earth, wind, and water, so I was a bit disappointed that they weren't there. When I read the histories and thought "they should be coming back" my hopes rised.
Unknown2004-10-31 14:02:59
hmm maybe another commune...living in harmony *hope*
Lisaera2004-10-31 14:49:13
Wouldn't that be nice.

Gaetele, it's rose. tongue.gif

To be honest, I think more villages/miscallaneous areas should be implemented before a new city. But if there was going to be a new commune, Glomdoring would be fun.
Unknown2004-10-31 15:05:28
Playing prophet and trying to discern what the general feeling of the cities/communes that are to be added will be (this includes some references to Achaea):

-Hallifax: In theory it will be a city ruled by iron logic, yet I have a feeling that it will be something very Cyrene-like...

-Gaudiguch (or something): Ashtan if it was ruled by Matsuhama/Aegis (Achaean gods of war)

-Glomdring: Evil forest, nothing else to add.

-Ackleberry: Goody-goody commune, filled with pacifistic Furrikin and some Tae'dae.

Okay, now it's time to add up something which isn't clearly obvious - it isn't the number of cities/communes that we have to worry about, it's rather the number of villages - I hope it'll increase when new cities will be added.

Oh hush. I had my brain turned off.

I've got my heart set on the city in the link in my profile smile.gif
I'm guessing it'll take enough player support for something like that to happen though, because they've had everything else planned for a few years now.

Of course, my problem in getting support for it is... right now, food costs me around 185gp for fishcakes (probably something cheaper from cooks, but I don't know any)... to make 185gp to stay "alive" and not blacking out every other second, making playing impossible... I'd have to fight monsters (as far as I know), thus getting experience, thus raising my levels... but I don't want to PK, so I want to stay under 20 (in grace). Also, I'm not using my lessons in any of the existing guilds because as soon as Styrta would be put in, some of those lessons would be wasted, and I'm not buying credits...

If I can't stay alive, and I can't just RP, I can't start an RP around finding Styrta... so, I'm stuck, and it probably never will happen.

Oh well...

The likelihood of Ackleberry being made available while Serenwilde around is low.
Unknown2004-10-31 15:32:46
Not if they want Serenwilde to be something of a mystical forest, with fae, witches etc (maybe even human sacrifices, but I think that'd be reserved for Glomdring), and send all the hippies and treehuggers to Ackleberry.
Unknown2004-10-31 15:38:35
That would actually be good. Ackleberry can keep all the people who go, -cuddlelick romp- -frolic-
