Okay, here is me: Alamander!
Alamander is a young elfen boy; although he has passed into manhood he is still a child at heart. He has a love of discord, and will often encourage it when it appears. However, he believes that when it comes to important things it is best to be serious, so as not to cause any lasting damage. He dislikes killing things needlessly, but if there is a reason to kill it then that is fine, because it has served its purpose in the world by doing so. He is usually quiet, and avoids conversation, but he has a sharp tongue when he thinks something is wrong, or more specifically, against his interests. He loves plants and is especially distraught in these times by the distinct lack of herbs in the world *nudge herbalists*. He considers people to be generally not very sound in their reasoning, and as such doesn't see any reason why he should be either. Yet he still is, mostly because of underlying morals that prevent him from going over the edge and establish a sense of rightiousness in him. He generally likes exploring, but hates getting lost. He enjoys combat, but only for good reasons. In summary, Alamander is a mischieveous, yet willful and moralistic elfen boy.

I totally completely left Serenwilde and the Moondancers. LoL. This important man I spoke of earlier? He was a witch yeah, but he wasn't no Moondancer.
I forgot to mention that my guy is kinda lusty. He's not going to just rub up against everyone but I think sometimes its obvious that he's got this amorous streak just by the look in his eyes. He's also got this habit of being totally intellectual and well-versed one moment, and a big freakin' goofball the next. I think the dual natures (controlled as they may be) are reflected in his appearance and overall presence... Namely, his hair and fiendish eyes, complemented by the dancer-like movements and the vanilla fragrance he wears.
Now _everybody_ knows who I am! Aaaaaah!

Richter2004-11-04 23:54:23
Richter is one messed up guy. His past isn't very clear, but if you read his background, it said he lied to the fates about what he was. He was actually Viscanti, but was never played like that, and won't be. He isn't all that important, but his ancestor is a bit more.
Draest Carthan was around at the time of the taint. He was an elfen that became one of the first viscanti. Draest decided to hunt down the new, rouge viscanti. There was no "true" race yet. Draest was from the glorianna commune. He was wandering the serenwilde when he met a giant taint wyrm, which went through the mother tree. Deciding to defend the fae, he went in after it. There was a battle, and the wyrm exited through the megalith. I had some reason how they did this, it escapes me at the moment.
Gorgulu approaches Draest, who is already insanely powerful, and, a bit insane. Draest gets supercharged, kills the wyrm, and ends up dying himself. His soul remains.
Now, Richter is here with us 500 years later. He freaked out at the moonhart tree because Draest's soul is possessing him occasionally. He went to the megalith, and did it again. Though, the megalith threw out a bolt of energy at him (courtesy of isune), released draest, changed his appearance, and threw him to the path of death (again, isune).
He'll eventually throw off Draest's spirit, and I'll try to get one of the gods to do something cool again. For now, that's the reason he's left the commune, and is a bit more evil than before.
I Rped that, joined the disciples of crow, and was enemied. /whine
Richter also had some kind of a cat before, which he'll find soon. Think devil may cry's boss from the second level, kinda like that. Spikes, morph, panther thingy.
A lot is in store for him, and I can't wait to RP it! Anyone who wants to help me rp finding my pet, send email me at invictus__@hotmail.com

Mary, whose name is very deliberately plain, exists to study things, take notes, learn about and promote the Taint, and generally be a cheerfully pleasant person who happens to be completely loyal to Magnagora. She's been mutating steadily since as long as she can remember and simply doesn't care. She is currently probably one of the only Magnagoran Master Viscanti to visit the Pool of Stars on a set mission (namely, to interview the locals about the Celestine cat population) and neither attack anything nor be attacked. She loves exploring and is very fond of animals or roughly animal-shaped entities (i.e. rockeaters); the weirder, the better. Naturally, she is a great proponent of Magnagora's zoo. Mary is also very concerned with the health and well-being of the Ebonglom Wyrm, whom she is convinced is very depressed.
I really do need to draw a picture of her one of these days so people will realize just how CREEPY she looks.

Ibsen isn't entirly sure of his past as of yet, to be honest he's not entirly sure he cares.
He is Viscanti, most likely of Lucidian heritage, and feels a strong but confusing pull toward the Earth Plane itself. He's taken it as his home, and wanders it from time to time, spending time and feeding tidbits to his 'children' the grubs and lindwyrms. Toward other magnagorians he is helpful when he must, as they are the most expedient way to get what he needs, that being saftey and quiet. He tends to be very practical and analytical, but not very kindly. It is not that he does not think others worthy of compassion, but rather he simply has none to give.

Nementh Sunfire Ralt, he is an interesting guy in my opinion. (Bias it may be.) He is descended of a proud Elfen Sunfire family, in its leading line. He became patriarch just before he steped through the portal, and that was one of the first things he remembered.
He battles tradtion, which tells him to be a warrior and leader of his family, and to hold traditions, in a world in which his tradtions are old and antiquated. Further more, he is constantly battling his warlike upbringing with his faith in Lady Isune.

Gwylifar2004-11-05 16:24:37
Gwylifar was born the second child of the chieftain of a tribe of aslaran. Amongst this tribe, the first-born would be chieftain, the second-born would be huntleader, and the third-born would be warleader. The chieftain is the first authority, but in some ways is a figurehead; he or she doesn't really get involved in day-to-day affairs, and so usually defers to the huntleader. The huntleader runs the day-to-day affairs of the tribe, including (of course) hunts; because he has less luxury and more involvement in the tribe's activities, he is often more respected, and while he has less official authority he often has more effective authority. The warleader handles conflict with other tribes, often over hunting grounds.
He was raised expecting someday to take over for his uncle, while his elder sister would become the chieftain, and he considered this service, and his training to prepare for it, a sacred duty and an honor. Something happened, though, to make him leave that life, shirk that duty, and abandon his tribe. He can't remember what that was, and this mystery haunts him; what could make him turn away from such a duty?
He thinks that a few others in the tribe also left it at the same time, possibly following the same path he did, but he's yet to find any of them, and not even entirely sure they did.

Hiriako2004-11-05 16:26:29
Hmmm...to describe Hiri or not?
Eh, why not.
Basically Hiriako's character comes from his mindset at his passing through the Portal of Fate. He knows -nothing- of his past, and went on a gut feeling when he selected the Serenwilde as his home. A Lucidian isn't terribly suited for the forests by stereotype, after all.
Although unknown to him at this time, his true race is that of a Changeling, and the Lucidian form was adopted simply from the shock of travel through the Portal of Fate.
He has a deep, ingrained distrust of the cities and even more so of the taint, but what caused this he does not know. Quite simply, he is an enigma to himself. Others see what they do, and he doesn't care.
