Selling my map file of Lusternia, includes:

-prime plane with all the levels of the seas, secret areas, forests, guildhalls, rivers, mountains, cities and villages, i.e. everything.

-the two elemental planes, Nil, Ethereal and Astral.
-triggers and settings to enable easy autowalking across the world.
-tracking of swimming and even sprinting (!).
-optional advice on how to use the configuration settings.
-If wanted, further assistance in customizing the thing if you want skills implemented.

All this for 20 credits, free updates for life smile.gif.

Just curious, if you've been everywhere to get this map set up then why aren't you a Planeswalker?
Thorgal2004-11-02 16:08:01
Well I haven't been in any of the city sewers or in the cosmic plane of Celestia yet, that's why I didn't include those in my description.
Kaervas2004-11-02 16:19:45
Ahh okay, ignore my last post then
Thorgal2004-11-02 16:29:01
-g- I'll add 'em soon as I get sewers in environment.

Prices changed a little, since I'm not longer a Magnagoran, 20 credits for anyone that's interested, see first post of this thread for info.

New addition: tracks when you're following someone else.

Can I buy just the images of the maps from you for cheap or something?

I don't use zMud but having a guide to look at makes mapping with my mapper easier.
Thorgal2004-11-10 10:44:03
Newly added to the maps, the cosmic plane of Celestia, meaning every single plane and area is included now.

As a side note: Once you bought it (20 cr), you get free updates as new areas get discovered.

Ok, I only just decided to dish out for this, but it is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Thorgal answered all my setup questions (even the dumb ones) immediately and I was able to use the map within a few minutes of getting it open. Its...really, really cool. Well done, Thorgal! Well worth the investment.

Just what I've been looking for. As soon as I get online tonight, I'm messaging you for it. happy.gif

Two questions:

One: if you land in a certain location, does the map immediately update at your current location? (with exceptions probably the oceans and places that look identical)

Two: Slow-walking work correctly?

1. It doesn't for all locations, you have to indicate which ones first, like for tarot catacombs, teleporting to nexuses, etc...else you'd need way too many triggers. How to do that is very easy, and me explaining it is part of the deal tongue.gif.

2. Of course, all triggers and settings for that are included.

Re: question 1... what if you get summoned?

Not that I think it matters too much for a map since you can set it later, but just curious.
Thorgal2004-11-19 10:41:10
No, as far as I know zmud can't be coded to track you when you teleport to a random person at a random place or get summoned to a random place. It's only possible with a number of set places like I mentioned in my previous post.

Surprised it's not been asked.... Does this thing account for all the annoying cows, sheep, and general balance-buggering things?
Thorgal2004-11-19 16:32:49
Yeah, setting the sendline delay will make sure it doesn't bug up if ya run into a cow.
Unknown2004-11-19 19:34:34
When you're summoned, set a trigger to do a #FIND command and update your position on the map (assuming it's not some room like the Inner Sea where it's repeated 100 times).

When you hit a snag, like a cow or sheep, set a trigger to #PAUSE if you're in a speedwalk and then #STEP when you regain balance.

I setup a nice little trigger to follow me on the map when I sprint, too. I just wish there was a way to make the map not "sprint" into the water. Does your configuration take care of sprinting at all, Thorgal? If it can do all of this and more, I'd consider paying you for it, too. I'm just tired of trying to fiddle with my own mapping triggers for so many special little cases. biggrin.gif
Thorgal2004-11-19 19:46:52
Like mentioned above, it takes care of sprinting tongue.gif. And I tested #find, it works maybe 10% of the time, way too unreliable.
Unknown2004-11-21 04:04:08
*nudges Thorgal* LOL - it takes a while and a lot of patience to send your map files, doesn't it, Thorgal? *curses hotmail and his own idiocy*
Unknown2004-11-21 04:06:11
Oh, yeah...
QUOTE (Thorgal @ Nov 2 2004, 06:06 AM)
All this for 50 credits, 30 credits if your character is Magnagoran and 10 credits if you're a non-novice Ur'Guard.

I suggest you edit this with the changed prices, Thorgal, because otherwise people who first enter this topic and read it might be turned away.
