I've only gotten a couple of afflictions so far. Not much point to me going into full combat mode until I have all the cures I need. I'm pretty close to getting Diagnose, too. tongue.gif

I have a hell of a lot, but the beauty of designing a system is fighting/sparring, and finding them on your own. Short of shelling out credits, I doubt you'll find anyone willing to 'train' a fellow warrior in the arts of curing and combat so easily (well.. how much you offering, anyway?).

I have like 8.

I have around 500, but it cost me a large amount of time and payments to others. I do offer combat training though IC so feel free to ask what you may

I've only got 300some, none of which are triggered.

hehe, that's because you are better than me!! If I wasn't such a goof with typing, I would love to do the same as you Visaeris, sounds mroe of a challenge and fun at that.

Seriously, the best way to get affliction triggers is to fight a lot. Get in and get dirty, and make sure you make triggers for all of the afflictions that hit you. Learn to understand the different guilds' tactics and even individual tactics. That's the only way to become a better fighter because new tactics will be invented to circumvent any kind of system. On top of that, skills will change too, making old systems obsolete, and if you're not on the ball then, you'll have a hard time adjusting.

anyone know how to solve a curing problem when you can't use diagnose?

So many attacks don't tell you what you have.. and as a tae'dae the only time I can use diagnose if if I'm hiding somewhere. Shield doesn't work cause I can't reshield fast enough.

Never thought about that. I hate to see a race getting shafted because diagnose takes too long to restore balance on.
Quite the few afflictions do give an initial message, and several again gives some sort of discernable effect when you have then on. On the other hand, because of herb balance and such, having triggers on just the initial messages might mean you try to wolf down on several herbs and just one affliction gets cured. So you can't be sure you get all afflictions.

triggering on known messages is no problem for me, its the messages that have mutiple afflictions for the same message that I'm worried about.

Maybe a solution, right out of fairness, would be to give diagnose an extra balance type, like herb-balance and such. I see no reason why it should be more difficult to diagnose yourself as a tae'dae than as an aslaran, it also has nothing to do with intelligence.

Hypochondria only further muddles with things.
