Various types of growls that bears make.
Chest thumping and other wookie type movements.

I agree, I'm a loboshi and I find it annoying that I wag "an imaginary tail" when I actually have a tail.

I made my own wag emote, and preen.

For wag, I do "emote wags her long, furry tail happily".
For preen, I do "emote turns her head sharply to nip an annoyance from her fur".

(which might insinuate that I have fleas... But... It's normal for that type of race, I'd think)

Dracnari should have some sort of agitated tail swish/smacking of the ground with the tail.

Also, a cough that sends a small flame with smoke from the nostrils and mouth.

Yeah, some of us furrikin have tails too. *peers fox tail* I just set "wag" to "wags his bushy tail to and fro, smiling happily", which I stole off an Achaean rajamala once.

For whatever reason I can not RP any race but a 'humanoid'-type, such as human, viscanti, etc.. The idea of me being a bear or some kind of furry thing makes me uncomfortable.

I, too, would like to see some racial- or even guild/city/commune-based emotes. Lusternia has done so much for RP and this is another useful thing to add. People love emotes, especially when not all of their friends can do them.

There was a minor, but significant, change in Achaea a while ago that made custom emotes use only a person's name, without the title. I'd like to see that change made in Lusternia, too. Another minor step toward improving the RP, and should be a quick change somewhere in the code, right?

The fact that with custom emotes, it shows your title, sort of turns me off making them. They just don't look real.

Fortunately, on Aetolia, (since I'm at CR4), I could title myself. So I got round that with a few simple aliases. UNTITLE;JIGGLE;RETITLE

UNTITLE performs SUFFIX IGGY, and RETITLE does SUFFIX IGGY Tsunomari, the Devout.

Therefore, with semi-colons, I could have it all done in a second so nobody noticed my title was gone, and I could still do a custom emote without the annoying title.

I think they took out the ability to split commands up with semi-colons though, on Lusternia...it doesn't work for me. I found that out the hard way when I tried to shut the Stewartsville assasin in a room using semi-colons.

EDIT: Oh, I agree racial emotes should be added. I never really used them before, since there were none on Achaea, and it'd be fun. Plus I doubt I'll get CR4 in Serenwilde anytime soon, I put too much work into Enorian on Aet

Semicolons and other newline characters are all client-based. Try finding and enabling the option in your client.

You guys can always write up some racial emote ideas right here, and we can try to put them in. The MSN group had an explanation how to suggest them.. but here it is again just in case:

1: "This is an example of an EMOTE!" you cry.
3: "This is an example of an EMOTE!" cries (Your Name).
1t: "This is an example of an EMOTE!" you say to (Target), sticking your tongue out.
2t: "This is an example of an EMOTE!" (Target) says to you, sticking (Target his) tongue out.
3t: "This is an example of an EMOTE!" (Your name) says to (Target), sticking (Your his) tongue out.

Hopefully that makes sense, I'm sure some players can explain it here if you are having trouble, some of them have made emotes before.

Roar (tae'dae, igasho, orchlach, taurian)

Well, I've got two pretty much planned out in my head, but explain to me what the 't' is for. I understand the numbers.

The 't' means it's targetted at someone, the 1/3 without the t are not targetted.

Chestthump or Thumpchest (Tae'dae, Taurian, Igasho.. any large race)

1: You pound your fists against your chest in a roar of excitment.
3: (Your Name)pounds (his/her) fists against their chest in a roar of excitment.
1t: You pound your chest in excitment at (Target), showing your ready for what lies ahead.
2t: (YOUR NAME) pounds (his/her) chest looking at you signifingy their readyness.
3t: (your name) pounds (his/her) chest looking at (target) in an amazing display of aggression


p.s I never said I was good at these... which is why I want them in the first place
