I honestly feel artifacts aren't the way to go in Lusternia at present. The game is far to unbalanced. I have looked and they are already selling increased powered weapons among other things. I would strongly urge against statistical artifacts and items of that nature ever. Bad idea.

Artifacts are actually needed for commerce, seeing how IRE games are commercial. Though, it would be great if people in Lusternia designed artifacts for their specific realms other than burrow from Achaea and simply change their names. I also oppose stat altering artifacts, specially those that cover all weaknesses. Right now, a major attack used by many is webbing. Now imagine this when they introduce buckawn boots... or... Fae Boots. Also, having artifacts that increase far too much the attack and defensive powers of some races just makes up for generating a greater imbalance. In realms like Achaea, for example, stormhammer by itself coming from a grook mage is very painful, now add all the enhancements... and you got yourself a massacre!

you obviously don't know about summer in lowmagic

Tipheret in highmagic is the same.

No... I do ignore what Summer and Tipheret do. On AB HIGHMAGIC, it describes Tipheret as "True freedom is only gained under the Sphere of Perfection." Does this skill help you prevent entanglings?

Summer and Tipheret both break webbing that results from bonds...so web, entangle stuff like that. It should be noted they dont help if you have a sword sticking through your gut..you still have to writhe then

It's extremely useful for the large races, the higher your size, the slower you will writhe free. A faeling for example writhes free faster than he regains balance from writhing, but an igasho will need quite a while, so tipheret or summer is very useful for them, especially if you're both roped and webbed.
