My sister is trying to convince me to visit her in Brisbane over the X-mas holidays. Really have no idea about the area.. though I know I want to visit the casino, if anyone wants to meet up there, or someplace else.. Though I'm a hell of a lot more shy offline than I am online. Last time I met with someone from Online, I was like "Hey look.. I have a mobile phone!" followed by banging my head on a wall.

Brisbane's awesome. Not from there, personally, but I've spent time there. I enjoyed it a lot. Guess it was a culture shock for my american-ness.

There's not a whole lot to do in Brisbane really. Get out to the coasts, that's my main suggestion, especially the beaches in summer, the theme parks are enjoyable though pricy. In Brisbane there's... the Gabba? South Bank and/or botanical gardens... that's about it off the top of my head.

No.

Just kidding, I'm from Sydney. However, my parents will hang, quarter and flay me if I meet anybody from over the net. They're so medieval.

Pffft I've met tens of people over the net (ok, a lot of them were off my old uni's IRC server) and am yet to be killed! Of course that might just mean I'm the axe murderer that everyone's worried about, but the fun is you'll never know until you meet me. >_>

Yeah well you're an uni student and I just finished year 7. Your parents don't breathe down your shirt.
