And anyway, who does cold damage? Besides Aquamancers?
Woohoo, I could resist being frozen... oh wait, it has never happened

Well, no one said you couldnt be sapphire if not in celest, afterall, saphire is a color as well. Just if your in celest, then maybe you'd be mad eout of the sapphire gem. But it was just an idea. I Thought it would be nice to have a seemingly jack-of-all-trades race, where they get bonuses in every city.

Well, the saphire gem is saphire colored... So it would suggest your color.
I think the specializations were made to promote certain races to live in certain places (IE viscanti in Magnagora, Elves in Serenwilde).
This would suggest that lucidians should live everywhere, while they would mostly be in Halifax (when it is realesed into normal time again.)

actually the celts or whomever had drow long before any game system existed.
Fantasy comes from RL religions and myths. twist that one around your noggin.

You're right in a way, Daganev, but Celtic drow and almost all elves through mythology tended to be less "pointy-eared, long-lived humans" and more "cattle-stealing faeries." The drow we were talking about are a much more modern creation.

make sme wonder where goblins came from.......

I think that if any race was going to get boosted stats in Hallifax because of aeromancy, it would be trill I mean the merians can swim, and the viscanti are made up of taint or whatever, and the elves are all woody. The Trill can fly in the air, they are closer to it then the Lucidians.
Unknown2004-11-17 11:43:44
as another note, i think lucidians should get a level 3 resistance ot cutting. ok, their crystaline beings. that would make them vunerable to blunt damage. so cutting damage goes as normal? i wouldnt think so.

Aye, thats a good point. What I meant was if the Lucidians were going to get a bonus, it would be from Hallifax.
Qaletaqa2004-11-17 18:48:30
Aye its most likely that both Lucidians and Trill will get bonuses when Hallifax comes around. A trill will most likely be the Aeromancer and the lucidian the Guardian archetype. Don't know about the warrior class though as it never mentions that I believe.

Onyx Lucidians: Come from gaining the necromancy or nihlism specialties. Gain: Regen health while in darkness (underground), level 2.
It saddens me to see that Geomancers didn't make the list... Lucidians being made of crystal and everything. (Geomancers burrow too, making this health regen handy, versus obscure)

would eb rathe ruseful, wouldnt it?

I highly doubt both Lucidan and Trill will get benefits from the halfix. from what it looks like by using Magnagora, Serenwilde and Celest only one race has recived benefits from the guilds. Though this may change down the road, I believe it will happen for Halfix and the other city when they appear back in our time

There was a more even balance of Trill and Lucidian in Hallifax then there was a balance of races in any of the other cities. It makes sense to encourage both Trill and Lucidian to join Hallifax.
