Plus skillset reuse. To go from Paladin to Maldaathi in Achaea, you lose and relearn Chivalry and Forging with a 50%(?) lesson loss. Here, going from Paladins to Ur'Guard you lose your Rituals specialization while keeping the Rituals base and the other skillsets. So even if you lose 25% in the Rituals specialization, you are *not* losing lessons in Knighthood, its specialization, Forging, Athletics, and basic Rituals. That means a small fraction of the total lesson loss vs. Achaea.

As much as that makes sense, RP-wise what's the chance a Paladin will go Ur'guard compared to a Paladin going Celestine?

It would take alot of explaining to why one will suddenly become the taint's elite from a warrior of the light.

And going from Paladin to Celestine costed me alot more then I thought it would since the only common skillset is Sacraments with Rituals.

I think there should be less of a power lose when you forget skills to join a guild of the same city cause of the closeness between the two.

Oh please, there have been so many examples of redeemed evil guys and fallen warriors of the light in history and literature that explaining THAT away is damned easy. As it is, the system beats anything from any of the other realms hands down (including on Achaea where it was just reduced to no loss for novices, 10% loss for under GR3 and 50% loss for people with class).

Put the things is, the closeness IS sacraments, so you keep that. To go from building up athletic physique and muscle tone, learning how to use a weapon, learning to parry and where to strike to Summoning Angels and Healing people empathically...there is no way that even 20%of what you would have learned would have ANY relevance. So in reality you are getting off light.

Well, it's like going from being an American teacher to an American doctor... you know nothing about being a doctor so it takes a lot of work. But if you were to, say, become a teacher in France, you'd have to learn a language but you'd already know all about teaching.
