I didnt say THE last... I said ONE OF the last, implying there are few left. I just think it would play nicely into the racial wars already going on biggrin.gif only this time it would be "pure" merian versus "unpure" merian tongue.gif

It's rather presumptuous to say that you're even "one of the last" since you dont exactly know how many there currently are nor how many there will be... which defeats the purpose of saying it entirely.

Anyway, My character is a pure merian aquamancer and is looking for a New Celestian family of his own race and no others. You can find me in-game through tells. I'd prefer an actual family with a bunch of people and not just a few. smile.gif

Must be good at roleplay and creative so I can include the family somehow into my background.

Seems as if I'm now looking for a wife too. *scratches off two people*

I plan to have the Great House Carthan asap. Which actually, will be in a long time.

I'm interested in starting a new family; bloodbond or marriage. You must be a Viscanti from Magnagora. Also, I'de prefer to know you from before, but I can always make new acquiantances. Will need to discuss history and name OOC. Send a message to Yawgmoth if you're interested! cool.gif

Just to add to the list...

Looking for a sibling to help me in reconstructing House Hazael. MUST BE TRILL, or have a good excuse for why they're not. Younger is preferred, though older is a possibility. Contact me on forum messages if interested.

I also dislike the "I've been friends with this person for two years, and now I just found out he is my brother! What are the odds!"

For me, I just randomly found a Lucidian in Celest one day, and within five minutes of talking to her asked if she wanted to blood bond me laugh.gif She seemed like a good roleplayer, so I just asked her out front.

It seems more realistic to have siblings that were previously complete strangers to you.

Throwing this back up as my solemn duty to my lineage...

Tossing this up...again...

I think Ill join in...
Anyone want to get married? You gotta buy the wedding bands, if you want to use them biggrin.gif

I'd love to start up the Flagg family. Mostly i'm looking for Furrikin and Tae'dae, although other forest dwellers (Elfen, Faeling) and big creatures such as Krokani and Igasho would be welcome as well. Any other race would be considered, of course, on a case-by-case basis.

Just so I don't end up making any stupid decisions, I want to absolutely verify this - once you've bloodbonded someone, there's no official way of making anyone else a brother/sister, right? Only I have two sisters, and I really hope I don't just have to bloodbond one and leave the other.
Unknown2004-12-09 16:54:36
I thought it was just that there can only be two founding siblings, but there can be any number of siblings in total?
Shiri2004-12-09 17:40:18
Ahh, I see. I just didn't understand the help files, that's all. The way I understood it from reading those, if you bloodbonded but didn't have any parents, you couldn't have another brother/sister because there didn't seem to be any action to do so, only to consider children. And we're all about 18-20, so that wouldn't really work.
Unknown2004-12-09 18:08:26
Seems to me like people don't get how family works here. You can bloodbond ONE person. If you're bloodbonded you can then get married, but if you're married you cannot bloodbond, so Richter, no one would be able to bloodbond your wife whenever you get her.

There is a reason for this, they don't want some person bloodbonding 50 people to make a Great House, yes it would take 100 game years to do that, but it's just unrealistic.

One thing that bugs me is you can only consider one kid at a time. What if you have twins?
Shiri2004-12-09 18:27:04
Alyvia, I'd think three person sets of brothers/sisters are MUCH more common than twins. Maybe that's just 'cause I live in a rural district though. wacko.gif
But still, I can see why there'd be limits, but I really would like to have more than one brother or sister. Without having known my parents (because I'm not sure anyone's old enough, really. Well, okay, a few people are. But not many.)
Gwylifar2004-12-09 20:41:34
I'd like to meet up with some aslaran who might share a background with Gwylifar, particularly some who might be tainted now, but who weren't always. I've a fairly good idea of my pre-Portal history but there's still a lot of gaps, so I have some flexibility to work with to mesh with whatever you've established in yours.
