I know things are being done, and I am forever grateful and in awe of Roark and Estarra's ability to get these things done, but I was wondering if it would be possible for there to be a list of which bugs and things are being worked on in what order made public? I ask this in particular because Shoshana is one of those jewelers who's affected by the bug that meant that some of us didn't get Mastercut, and while I know it's probably not a priority (Certainly not compared to what happened with the villages ) and I don't mind waiting some more, it would be nice to know that it is going to be worked on at some point, and what has to be done before it gets worked on (Apologies if you have been working on it already, but if there was a list like I'm suggesting then I wouldn't have to ask ).
Of course, I'm not asking that you put when you're working on new areas or events or other things that are meant to be a surprise, just something so that us players can know what the current bug-fixing priorities are

This is one reason I was hoping they'd start using BugZilla or a similar tracker (maybe like the one used for zMUD). It would help us see what's being worked on and help them by not being swamped with so many duplicate reports. Some bugs might have to be kept more private, though, as we don't want people out there exploiting loopholes.

If we did this manually we'd never fix any bugs, and if it was automatic it would be well, huge. Besides that, so many small bugs are fixed continuously that it would be quite difficult to show priorities and keep it up to date.
You have to understand that there are thousands of reported bugs, and often hundreds are fixed in a single day, and as many or more reported at the same time. It is a continuous thing, bugs come in, bugs get fixed, bugs get prioritised, etc. in many different orders depending on who can do what.
I've known bugs to be fixed before they've even been reported before, though I must say I've also noticed them posted and complained about here before they're reported to us... which is really not helpful.
In short, if we tried to do this it would be sort of life having a stock exchange monitor running constantly.

I've worked on open source projects through SourceForge, and I find it much more convenient to have my users find the bugs and submit detailed reports in the bug reporting system on SF. Perhaps your own in-game system is much more efficient than this, but wouldn't at least having some sort of web interface to the database allow us to do a quick lookup before submitting a duplicate bug? Or to add more information to help you find the problem faster?
I applaud you all in your efforts, too! I am most impressed with your bug fixing abilities and I am loving the skill system you've set up for us.

Not going to happen for lots of reasons. I'll let Estarra or Roark explain if they feel the need.

Because I don't usually know what I'm going to work on. And when I decide, I usually have it fixed the same day. One notable exception is the problems with blademaster chest wounds I'm working on now, which has taken a few days. Though that is partly due to other problems usurping priority away from it that showed up unexpectedly and were fixed in the same day.

Thanks for the replies, I understand now so I'll just be patient

We have bugs?
