If 6 people chant laetitia upon a single individual, does it thus negate the use of bromide for that person?
The reason it's brought up, I believe, is the fact that a single person could then take and influence almost any NPC, no matter how difficult, because of the fact that chanting laetitia would cover the massive drain in ego, on a return 'attack'

Heh. Maybe if you Serens asked some of the guardian archetypes, they might be willing to chant laetitia, if you all provide the mana refills. Shrug. Erion would.

Every use of influence on a mob deals "damage" to their ego. Your charisma, clothing, jewelry, and skill level in Influence all ADD to this damage. Now, these mobs also slowly recover from this ego "damage" and as the same Influence skill is used they slowly become resistant to it, so it will deal less of this ego "damage" than the previous attempt. These things need to be taken into account when influencing otherwise people will be out there for hours trying to Admire a target only to be wasting thier time.
