I'm sure you all know of the death cries screamed by NPCs when they, well...die. I'd love to see the ability to do this for players. You know, just set what you want it to be, though you'd have to enforce it a bit, so you wouldn't scream, "Guy says, "You suck!"." every time you die.

It could go off right as you die, either on city/commune channel, room say, a yell, or even a shout. Perhaps the higher level you are, the louder it would be. For example, a common newbie would simply say, "Aaarggrrgh!" or something as he dies, while Dias (still ranked first, right?) might shout out, "AAAAAA - " on death. You could have the option to turn yours on and off, as well as the option to ignore others' death cries.

If all else fails, I'm working on a little script to do this, at least in say or yell form, so Mox's fellow citizens won't be bothered by his screams every time he dies. Look for it in the Mechanic's Corner section sometime, if I finish it.

They had this for a couple things before. Like, if you got killed by an Occultist (I think) doing Enlightenment (I think) on Achaea, you'd scream on shouts about how you can't bear it, make it stop, etc. It was largely ignored. Maybe if it was on CT though, and if it applied to some of the cooler skills. You know, the trans ones. Like being absolved or having those cool water things crush you to pieces.

You'd like to think that, wouldn't you?
