How many female blacksmiths have you seen in IRE?

Not many. I guess we just like making things out of metal, while they like cooking and knitting.

I would say that the only thing forging has for it is fake pride. I think women are less likely to find that interesting.

Sexy sweaty muscular women.

But it's a good marketing ploy. "Buy from me, I'm a woman, I actually put effort into my work."

Jeez at least you have girls in your class. I'm studying Network Engineering. The only lady (a very gorgeous lady too) in the Network Engineers, is of course, not in any of my classes.

Couldn't care less about having girls in my class, per se, I'm weird like that. It's just annoying when when we're talking about types of industry and the situation in Sheffield etc. and how loads of big burly steelworker men went into unemployment because type 2 industry is being more and more automated and women are having an easier time finding jobs since they're trained in type 3 industry work and you can imagine how some of the gals in our class love that. Blahhh. Ah well! The teacher's a guy so we get the odd quip in on our side too

Actually, Astridyna on Imperian was considered one of the top forgers, along with Calis.

Zephy was also a prominent Aetolian forger.

Kids, the question isn't about whether "us ladies" can be competent forgers, it's referring to raw gender percentages. I think, anyway.

I swear, Zephy was a man.

Actually I'd say the gender percentages are kinda balanced. By the way, Calis is a he.

I didn't say Calis was a girl. I mentioned him, because he was the only person better than her, and after a while she surpassed him, too.
