Cities have alignments, if Hallifax and Guadiguch are made, then what will the alignments be? In my opinion, I see Hallifax as an evil-type. I mean, right before they were destroyed, didn't Hallifax attack Guadiguch? Well, that's my opinion... And, what alignment would that make Guadiguch?

It is my understanding that Hallifax was/is neutral. They are a city of reason and cold logic which lends itself to stark neutrality. Those of us working to restore it also feel this way.

Alignment does not necessarily mean "good" or "evil".

The Serenwilde is aligned, it's not neutral, it just happens not to be, as an organisation, good or evil. They are not the only two ways a city or commune can be.

I Myself am aligned, but I am definitely neither good nor evil.

Hallifax will be about Order, Discipline, and Logic.

GAUDIGUCH will be about Chaos and Mystery.

I didn't mean that there are only two alignments, I know there is more than just "good" and "evil" just was wondering what they would be.

Gaudiguch can be summed up in two words: Flame and Chaos.

Any former Occie from Achaea can tell you that youll never really be able to define chaos accurately. And I find the philosophical ramifications of flame to be similar to it. Flame builds, flame destroys, flame purifies, flame desecrates, flame can be controlled, flame can never be fully controlled. I think they did well in placing the element of flame with the city of Chaos.

I never really say Gaudiguch as mysterious. I've always seen the flame as being very up front, and in your face with lots of spunk. But then again, I don't really look at the histories very closely.

I hope Chaos in Lusternia is going to be different from all the precedants. Something original.

Gaudiguch has the Illuminati, and as I take it, they're a very secretive, influential organization shrouded behind the outer upbeat "chaos" attitude of the city.

I am sure as heck going to make a Hallifax character, if/when they come out. Chaos just annoys me, because no matter how many cool people they have, there's always going to be people associating "chaos" with "random" (however justified said association may be) and annoying the heck out of me. Tasteful amusing random like in the histories, yes. The way people will ACTUALLY do things - no.

I'm going to hold out my hopes that the supposed "boring" law-ness of Hallifax will keep this sort of person out, leaving it with a very interesting logical-minded roleplaying group. Of course, this will never happen, because people will make alts in the Aeromancers and what have you just to see the skills, but hey, a guy can dream!

I don't think Serenwilde or Gaudiguch are chaotic netural. Though Gaudiguch was known to have parties throughout the night, their beliefs was that of celest and there was no chaotic nature within their history.
