There is a way to do this...

There is, and while it's not exactly complicated, it's just not simple and instant enough to provide the link to deer/doe/stags that the Hartstone guild should have. Hell, on many occasions i've seen people bashing deer, or just the deer corpses they leave behind (and once or twice my character has gone out of his way to find the torc, give it to the bashers, take 'em to the White Stag, and force them to talk to him). But people really just don't care, because the link isn't so much a guild thing as just another obscure forestal thing in general.

Anyway, I guess the general forestal mindset from previous games is too strong to be confined to the Hartstone or Moondancer RP, let alone the two different Totems. No matter how often Auseklis says things like 'the plants can take care of themselves', people are still going to have their own ideas about what druids are.

... as was evidenced by the bright spark who titled novices 'Saplings'. *barf*

It's just ick that someones used other IRE helpfiles, to get them credit IC. They should be punished for it, really, since it's metagaming at its worst.

If someones gained any city, guild, or any kind of favour IC, or any gold, position, or anything, it should be stripped from them. I don't care if it wouldn't be an IC action to do so. It's horribly unfair for a player to gain from copying over GHELPs from another realm.

They've already been shrubbed for another ofense, so we can't really punish them.

And yes, people don't get that your affilitation with certain organizations pretty much means you can't hunt some things. Yes, the deer are there and killable, but that's not for Serenwile bashing, it's for a quest.
