But... But... It's all funny... The hiphop, and the way the two of them fight, and... I can't remember specific examples from the first four episodes cause it's been a while since I saw them, but still. I mean, it does have some pretty serious bits, but on the whole it's hilarious...

EDIT: Gah, and I hated the way one of the protagonists was counting off breaking that guy's fingers, but that's just me being squeamish.

It's not supposed to be funny all the time, some episodes and situations are... but it's rather serious most of the time.

For the brief time I had cable at a resort, I saw an episode of Samurai Champloo... I didn't get it.

Tenjo Tenghe (Or however they're spelling it now) has the BEST opening . Pity the series is so terrible, though. Although, it's meant to be quite good if you like the fanservice highschool fighting genre...

In Champloo, the blending of tradition Japanese tradition with modern day African American music confused me really. Rap and anime don't seem to work... it's usually Japanese pop or something.

*shrug* That's the whole premise. In the same way as Cowboy Bebop was space mercenaries and blues music. It's not really a serious series, and there are heaps of intentional anachronisms in some of the later episodes especially which is part of what makes it funny (Like beatboxing, and graffiti, and various other hiphop-type things).

I guess it just doesn't do it for some people, which is fair enough. Must be one of those love it or hate it things.

Does anyone know where to download the full Paranoia Agent intro music? I don't know what it's called, and I can't find it in my normal places.

Ah, Paranoia Agent finished. Good stuff. Not my favourite, but very original and surprising. Managed a decent and -new- plotline without being lame about it.
Onto Monster next. Although that's in its obnoxious filler-episode period ATM. I hate those.

Okay, Gantz's ending sucked, didn't really explain anything, and for that matter made next to no sense. Stupid crappy manga ports.
