All the published music they use is credited to the owner, though the only piece I'm aware of that wasn't created for the anime itself is the intro, which is of course credited during the intro itself. Cowboy Bebop is too good to miss due to a misconception.

Not technically true. "Tank!" and the rest of the music that the Seatbelts perform is written by Yoko Kanno, the same composer who wrote everything else on the Bebop soundtrack (which is amazing in itself. How can the same person write "Cats on Mars" and "ELM"?). The Seatbelts perform other music she wrote, as well - there's a live section in the soundtrack boxset that includes "Tank!", "Rush", and "What planet is this?" by the Seatbelts and a piano solo by Kanno herself, among other things. Think Nobuo Uematsu and the Black Mages if that helps.

That said, you're spot on about Bebop being too good to miss because of a misconception. Get that friend to watch it even if it takes taping their eyes open and tying them to a chair.

Haibane Renmei is kinda cute. None of the interesting parts I'm told are in it have happened in the episodes I've seen yet though...

Wolf's Rain doesn't seem that bad. But I only saw one ep. More on that later.

Tales of Phantasia OAV looks awesome, as soon as they sub the last two episodes (in ENGLISH, not FRENCH, ffs), while Tales of Eternia looks a bit meh. It was pretty cool right up until Undine started talking about water attribute ( ).

One Piece is a nice anime to relax to IMO. Kinda kiddy, but not so much.

Those Who Hunt Elves is awesome! I love the music too. Angel Blue is pretty good, the end theme rocks, and Round 11 I keep playing over and over.

I found Wolf's Rain rather weak. I've seen like 15 episodes and it didn't really make much sense. Theme was nice but the plot was disappointing. Song in the intro was really cool though ("Stray" or something like that).

Monster is interesting. It's realistic, no fantasy or s-f stuff, not even typical anime exaggeration. Unless there's something at the end, haven't finished watching it yet.

Anyone seen Outlaw Star? Maybe it was discussed here, this thread is like... everlasting so things might come over again and again, I guess. Anime itself is mediocre, but there's a really nice idea of a Caster gun.

Oh, I thought I'd mentioned monster, hm, woops. I saw 20 or so episodes of that. It wasn't bad. I LIKE my fantasy and s-f though, so I have higher priorities. (Plus the torrents were 1 by 1 from the subber I found, which annoys me a tonne.)

EDIT: As for Wolf's Rain, yes, the theme is interesting, I haven't seen any plot yet so I guess that's why it seems good still. Oh, and I did like Stray.

I liked Wolf Rain. I do agree that the theme seemed interesting, but its seems like it needed more. Like a few more episodes and another ending.

Outlaw Star, ah man! That was the one show that got me into this whole anime thing. Most people think it was Dragonball, but I saw that as just a regular cartoon for some reason.

I want to buy the whole Paranoia Agent series. I get so annoyed at the end of each episode because I have no clue what's going on. At frist it had some kind of plot going on and I was very interested, now it seems like its just a bunch of random stuff just happening. If I had the whole set I might just watch the whole thing in what sitting.

Now, has anyone see the movie Graveyard of Fireflies? That was the saddess movie I've ever saw.

Grave of the Fireflies made me cry, and I wasn't even watching it, I was just reading a book in the same room.

I want to watch Grave of the Fireflies but none of the 3 torrents I found for it work. Anyone know where to get one?

I did cry at the end of that movie. But a emotional person like me shouldn't watch movies like that. Hey, I didn't cry, but I got misty eyed at the end of Samauri X. I felt so sorry for him.

Huge necro...but I can't seem to actually find where the "Bleach Beat Collection" is coming from I have the music, it's pretty cool (especially Suiginto no Yoru, I -love- that, Rosa Rubicundior/Lilio Candidior is pretty good too, if weird) but I didn't hear it in the anime at any point, and I've caught up to 55 (I like Tousen, he needs to show up more and we need to find out why Komamura is...like he is) so I'm confused.
At least now I know who the person holding the thing to Yoruichi's throat in Daevos' pic is.

Anyway, I saw a lot of One Piece as well. It's, uh, relaxing to watch! >_> And Samurai Deeper Kyo, a few episodes of, which I am not really following right now (is it like that in general, or am I just not concentrating properly?)

EDIT: And someone tell me when the full version of Ichirin no Hana comes out, the short version is awesome.

Teasing you a bit, Rukia's shikai was shown in the latest manga scanlation. Was a bit of a surprise, I got used to her being useless.

Bleach Beat Collection is just like.. extra stuff, I believe.

Anyway.. I'm still stuck on Naruto and Bleach. Bleach anime is becoming too awesome at this point too.
