The giants are before the drum kingdom. Are we thinking of the same giants? The Elbaf dudes that Mr. Candlehead nailed? And that beat up that giant fish that was gonna eat Luffy's ship?

It went "Little Garden (dinosaurs + giants)" - "Drum Kingdom (ice and rabbits)" - "Arabasta (desert and...stuff)" in the anime.

that said, yes we are being ripped off, anime is based off of 2 things

1. a certain type of drawing

2.putting as little real plot advancement into a single episode as possible, thus drawing it out and getting more ads and thus more money in.

Is it just me, or did anyone else thump some nearby object when the spectacular 58th episode of Bleach ended?

Great episode, I was disappointed a bit with how they made the execution in the animation, but this fight looks even better than in the manga.

If only they didn't break it all the time... *sigh.

I have a few friends reading through the manga well ahead of the anime, so I've had a few small things spoiled here and there. I had theories about Ichigo's Hollow side anyway, it's just a question of seeing how close I am at this point.

On the other hand, apparently there's zero chance of us finding out who's behind all of the bad stuff going down in Soul Society. No foreshadowing whatsoever and no reference, so apparently we're supposed to just be surprised when it happens. Or at least, that's what my friends tell me. I'm content to just let it play out. Enjoy the animation and all that. Only manga I ever bother to read are Chronicles of the Cursed Sword and Blade of the Immortal anyway.
